Arrival Story:
His litter was rescued from a high kill shelter by a vet that takes in the puppies and spay/neuters & vac. all of them and then he sends them to a loacl pet store to be sold. We had been thinking of either a yellow lab or a golden retriever after the loss of our beloved Tinker (found at approx 8 weeks in Walmart parking lot and lived to be almost 12yrs). When we found Jake he and one brother was all that was left. He has been an excellent boy.

Bio:
We also have a foster named Gunner. He will be one year in Feb. He came from a house fire in Baton Rouge and no one claimed him. I had him flown to me when the people that found him couldn't keep him and were going to have him PTS. He is a black lab and loves everyone.
