Dust Bath=Bath time outside

Wow, is it hot outside (not as hot as it has been lately) but 87 degrees is hot enough I think for most doggies so I think. Call me crazy but I tried to explain to my mommy that this hot weather makes us doggies do crazy things. Mommy didn't want to hear my reasoning for taking a dust bath at 10:00 pm.
First of all let me explain why there is dirt in my backyard -my daddy worked so hard a couple of years ago trying to bring the grass in the back yard to life and then it looked so beautiful the day I came home BUT from that day forward it was doomed. How could it possibly survive one Great Dane let alone TWO.... Ha! Ha! or Yeeee Ha!!!! My brother Attis and I have so much fun that Dad's beautiful backyard has finally surrendered.
Now let me get to the good stuff.... Mom was innocently planting more flowers in the other half of the backyard (let me add the other backyard that we are not allowed in -it's fenced off still). She was finally done and was unknowingly walking with me and my brother Attis when she shokingly asked me where I thought I was going to sleep tonight looking like the way I did (all dusty and dirty that was)? I thought about her question and knew right away that I must take a bath in order to sleep with my mom and dad-I know what you guys are thinking-how does a great dane sleep in bed with two adults? and all I have to say is that the three of us sleep much better now that Attis doesn't sleep with us anymore....
Out to the front yard we went to take my bath-I wasn't too excited about it but didn't fight much since I really wanted to sleep in the big bed tonight.
My brother thought that he was missing out on something and watched out the window the entire time-dork!!!
You should have seen the dirt run off of me-mom said I was the dirtiest dane in Ontario-but now I think I am the cleanest and prettiest-all this cleanliness has left me VERY sleepy.... Going to sleep in my big bed now....

For the love of chasing kitty's.... My newest recruit my little brother Attis.
My evil plan to terrorize the kitty's for slapping me in the face just because I was sticking my nose where it did not belong-the litter box......
I have Attis on watch most of the time-it is the job of the recuit ya know. Even though he does not alert me with a bark he does perk his ears up and then I know it is time to CHASE KITTY'S. I think the fat, grey cat likes to be chased-she's the one that slapped me. She always walks by me and meows really loud-I think that is what mom calls taunting me. GOTTA GO time to chase the grey cat again-
