Arrival Story:
I like to think that we rescued Simon! He was given to us by an acquaintance of my husband's who breeds beagle's for hunting. The intention was to have a house dog that my husband could also take out hunting. Simon went out a few times but I also made it clear to the hubby " If you dont come home with Simon don't bother coming home at all!"
Simon in now strictly a house dog, which was my plan for him all along!
Bio:
Simon was just a little 5 lbs peanut when we picked him up. Now 3 years later he weighs in at 43 lbs. He is not over weight at all, just very tall for a beagle.

Hello everyone, I know it's been so long since I last wrote, but my world has been turned upside down. Mommy and Daddy got me a new little brother. Now it's not the 4 legged kind that I would have liked to have but he'll do. I am finally getting used to him, although he likes to crawl after me and take my toy's away. I do like when he eat's, I get the leftovers!
Well, Im finally alone to rest, no one grabbing by ears and tail, im going to take a long nap in my window!

Hello all dogster's out there. It has been a while since I last wrote. What have I been up to? Well Halloween has come and gone. Mommy dressed me up as Elvis and I helped pass out candy and dog biscuit's. I loved seeing all the kid's and getting pet's and kisses from them. I am still very in love with Shelby, we are now seeing each other on a daily basis. I guess you could say we are "exclusive".
It's been chilly and windy here and daddy has been very busy picking up leaves. I keep him company while he is working. Except when he brings out the blower! Don't like that thing at all, and I really don't like when daddy tries to chase me with it!
Oh, I did get to go to the Cider Mill with mommy, daddy, Shelby, and her parents. It was soooooo fun. We walked the trail and then sat and had cider and donuts. Cider Mill donuts are the BEST!!!
Well, I guess I should go for now. All this typing has my little paw's tired. Gotta go rest em.

Saturday is Sweetest Day, just a made up Hallmark Holiday here in MI. Anyway mommy says that she is going to take me shopping so I can pick out something for my girlfriend's. Of course girlfriend #1 is Shelby! I think that I will get her a bag of Mother Hubbard treats and a card of course. Then girlfriend #2, well she is actually just a friend, is Libbee. I think that I will get her a stuffed hamburger, since she likes mine sooooo much. Maybe a bag of treats also because not only is it sweetest day but she is also moving to Georgia. I sure will miss her, my walking buddy!
Hope all you dogster's have a great weekend. Now im going to put my paw's up with my Doctor's Foster & Smith catalogue and maybe start working on my christmas list!
