I wasn't the kind of dog mommy was looking for! I wasn't the color of dog mommy was hoping for! But my breeder, Michael told mommy that she had to meet me! She came just to meet me, she wasn't going to decide that day. It was an unusually warm October afternoon. Michael came to my crib and told me that I might have a forever home just like my brothers. He said I had to be super sweet. He handed me to mommy. I curled up in her arms and snuggled really close. Mommy was a bit concerned I was so docile for a 12 week old puppy. She put me on the floor and got some toys, I ran around and played and played. Then mommy picked me up so Michael could take our picture. As soon as she picked me up I quieted down and snuggled closely. Mommy was REALLY impressed. When I was down on the floor I was a normal playful puppy but when she held me I became the calmest most passive little doggie. Mommy KNEW that she HAD to take me home. Michael knew it too. He told mommy: "You can't leave here without her" and she COULDN'T. Since coming to live with mommy I have had a full and active life. I love my mommy sooo much.
My biological (dog mom) was a pure bred Bichon Frise and my biological dad (dog father ) was a pure bred Toy Poodle (black). I was the ONLY girl of 6 puppies and I was the ONLY black puppy of the 6 of us. All my brothers got forever homes IMMEDIATELY but NO ONE seemed to want a Black doggie. My mommy was even looking for a white doggie until she met me and I stole her heart.
On November 26, 2008 I passed my tests to become a Certified Psychiatric Service dog. Now I can REALLY help mommy. I did well on all my tests but still need a "little" work but they said I did very well. Now if I can learn some mobility tasks I can get dual certification as a Psychiatric Service Dog and Mobility Service Dog. Mommy is so PROUD.

Though I am new to this group, I am not new to Dogster. I have been here almost a year. I deserve to be dog of the month for many reasons; I am cute, I am the happiest dog alive, I am very popular on Dogster, I have the best mom in the world and I have lots and lots of friends. I am active in lots of groups and administrator of a few. I am a very good doggie. I never chew anything that I am not supposed to. I am well trained. And last May I walked with my mom in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk and Pooch Parade. We were one of the top fund raisers. I wore a t-shirt that said "cure my mommies MS". This month would be ideal for me to win because on December 31 I will be on Dogster for one year!

I’ve' been tagged by my pawsome pal, Daisy Lola and want to play along.
10/24 I've been tagged again, this time by Jazmine
I am tagging
1. Daisy Lola
Here are the rules of this Dogster game of "tag" in case you've never gotten a chance to play. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new DIARY entry" along with the rules and put them in your own DIARY. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged. Post their names also in your DIARY.
1. I am very well behaved, I don't chew things and rarely do anything naughty
2. I have a cat sister named, Friday
3. I walked with mommy in the MS Walk and Pooch Parade in May and we were one of the top fund raisers
4. I went to 2 Dog Park meet-ups in the real fur, one in New York and one in New Jersey
5. I have really bad separation anxiety
6. I am going to be a Hot Dog for Halloween
7. I love every person and pup I meet for me there are no strangers
I am tagging the following pups:
Nika's Heavenly Dreams
Shift Chanel Anniston
Mr. Duffy Mc Duff
Miss Dixie Monroe
Hope you enjoy playing along.

I just returned from my first vacation. I went to Mystic Connecticut with my mom and grandma. We left on Sunday August 5 and returned late today, Tuesday, August 7. I had such a wonderful time. There were all kinds of interesting things to sniff and explore. When we went to Mystic Seaport there was a small beach I wasn't crazy about the sand. It felt funny on my feet, it was all squishy. A lot of the stores had water bowls set up by the door so I could have a drink and many of the shopkeepers gave me yummy treats. I met so many nice people that with my mom's permission petted me and played with me. I think every kid in Mystic petted me. The kids were so cute, they seemed more interested in me than the historical displays at Mystic Seaport.
I got to stay in my first ever motel room. There were two double beds and I found that if I got enough momentum I could jump from bed to bed without touching the floor! That was so cool! I did one bad thing though. My grandma left her hearing aid on the bed and walked away. I found it and it looked like a yummy treat. I bit into it and it started whistling. I didn't like that and barked at it. Then mommy took it away from me. She told me "no" but neither her or grandma yelled at me. Grandma admitted she was wrong for leaving it where I could get it. I love my grandma. She is not a real dog-person like my mommy but she was very tolerant of me and didn't even get mad when I walked across her while she was lying on the bed. She wouldn't let me lick her feet though.
Most of the stores let me go inside either on the leash or with mommy holding me. I even got to go to an outside restaurant with mommy and grandma. The waitress lady brought me a big pan of water with ice it was so good. I was on my best behavior while they ate their dinner, they were having fish which isn't my favorite. Mommy gave me some french fries - I liked them!
It was a long drive from our home in Long Island to Connecticut. Mommy gave me bathroom breaks and I slept the whole way. I have a booster seat which attaches to the car seat and to my collar but allows me enough movement to lie down. I just curled up like a good girl and slept. Mommy and grandma joked that they didn't even know there was a dog in the car. I was glad to get home and see all the familiar things that I am use to. As soon as I walked in the door I started teasing my cat sister, Friday. She had 3 days of peace and I had a lot of teasing to catch up on. Funny she didn't act like she was glad to see me.
I can't wait to go on vacation again. Mommy posted some pictures of me and of Mystic Seaport in my Dogster Plus pages. Check them out. Mommy didn't have Internet access while we were away and when she returned she had 1,000 e-mails mostly from Dogster. There would have been a lot more but that is the maximum her AOL account allows. Mommy has been trying to catch up with our groups and has some pawmail to answer but she wanted to post this for me so our Dogster pals would know what a pawsome time we had.
