Arrival Story:
Have always admired goldens from afar throughout the years. Was coaxed to go view a litter of golden pups. It was love at first sight and I now have three goldens!
Bio:
Hunter's health has been decling somewhat for the past month and so has been going through a battery of tests. The most recent one being a biopsy of an enlarged lymph node in his neck where a sample has been sent to the vet college to test for cancer.
If you can, please say a prayer for my special boy. He was my very first dog and my heart dog at that.
Results should be in this coming week.

Sept 16/07
Hunter was sent to the bridge yesterday, Sept 15, 2007 before he ended up suffering needlessly. It was the hardest decision in my life ever but I knew there was no hope of him getting better. Turns out he had lymphoma and it never showed any signs until his time was near. Elevated calcium levels on occasion had done significant kidney damage over a very short period of time and in the end, it was his declining kidney function that got most in the way with him feeling healthy.
Hunter was my heart dog and was most special in every way. There was never a day that went by that he didn't make it known to me that he loved me.
Hunter, you have no idea of just how much I will miss you and even though Mommy's heart is heavy now, your short 7 years with me has enriched my life like no one other person can.
I love you sweet heart!
