Arrival Story:
Rizzo was found by Animal Control roaming the streets of Minneapolis. They scanned his chip and called his owners - but they never came to pick him up. A Husky rescue organization scooped him up and that's how we found him. My dog Hazel was in need of a companion (she was getting bored while I was at work) so we made the rounds of rescue groups. She turned her pretty nose up at the first half dozen dogs she met but when she met the Riz, it was love at first sight! They've been chasing each other and wrestling and knocking over the furniture ever since.

My life as a bad dog by Rizzo

Hi all - it's me Rizzo writing. I just had to tell everyone how bad I was yesterday!

You see, my buddy Charlie Bear came to visit for a little over a week. His new daddie was out of town and my mommie said he could stay with us since he's already lived here for a while as a foster dog.

Well! When mommie went to work, she made poor Charlie go into his crate! Now that was not fun at all for me because one of my favorite things to do in this world is wrestle and roll around with Charlie. I couldn't do those things because he was in his crate.

I put up with this nonsense for 8 whole days (well mommie didn't lock him up in the slammer on the weekends). Finally on Charlie's last day here yesterday I decided to do something about the situation. I busted my buddie out of crate-jail!

When Charlie's daddie came over to pick him up (mommie had left a key out) he was surprised to see Charlie loose in the house with me and Hazel. When he went to put Charlie's crate in his car he was even more surprised! I totally destroyed that crate. I chewed it up until my buddy could get loose.

Heheheh. That'll teach mommie to lock up my buddies!!! She says she feels real bad and wants to help pay for a new crate.

I say all crates should be put in the trash forever! We pups should be free to roam around the world anytime we want (at least we Husky pups should). Also, we want our dinner in the comfort of our homes when we're hungry. But we should be able to run around all day, right???

My foster brother and I are quite a team!

Woowooooo! Hello all you naughty dogs! I'm writing to tell you about the antics Tango, my foster brother, and I get into!

Tango is a Sibe like me. He's even red/white with blue eyes like me. Unlike me he has his boy parts - he's sure going to miss them when mommie takes them away!

Anywoooo, we've had such fun tearing the slipcover off the couch and chewing on the arm of the couch. Yesterday, mommie went to work and locked my partner in crime up in his kennel. She said something about him "marking every stick of furniture in the house". Not sure what she means by that but he does pee a lot!

I really wanted to play with my new buddy, but he was locked up in doggie jail! Well, I fixed that! I chewed the bolts off of the screws on one side of the kennel and Tango was able to push up the top half and get out. Was mommie ever surprised when she found him outside the kennel when she came home from work. heheheheh

I'll fill you in more later - hope you're keeping on being naughty all you pups out there!

All is well and I have a new foster brother!

That old ear infection couldn't keep me down for long! I'm all better from that and the sore on my leg too.

I have a new foster brother. He's a 12 month Husky - red/white with blue eyes like me. Unlike me he still has his boy-parts, although mommie said something about that being taken care of this week.

All I know is that he humps me and I hump him and we have so much FUN together! We get into lots of trouble too - we're in the process of destroying mommie's new (old) couch. She keeps putting this slipcover on it and we have to work really hard to take that off before continuing our destructive work, but we get to it little by little.

My brother's name is Tango. Mommie says he was an outdoor dog and that's why his coat is all bleached by the sun. He's in the process of blowing his coat and has been looking better since mommie has been brushing him. He does NOT like all that brushing! He cries and cries, but mommie keeps at him. Poor guy!

I hope all you dogs are being as naughty as you can. That is what makes life so enjoyable!
