I was tagged by Missy to take part in Jewel's Tag Game.

Here are the rules:
Answer Jewels' three questions (about summer!) with three answers of your own. After that, tag THREE pals! *don't forget to pmail the pups you tagged so they'll be reminded to continue the tag game.*

Here are my answers to Jewels' questions:

1. What are you excited about this summer?

*-- Spending more time at the park!!!

2. Where does your mommy/daddy plan to take you to this summer?

*-- We already went on one vacation to Chicago!! We were there for a whole month and this summer momma intends on taking a roadtrip! Maybe to Hot-lanta!

3. What are the things YOU wanna do this summer but can't?

* -- Going on ALL of momma's vacations with her and daddy! ;-) They are going to the Jersey Shore and Norway without us!

Now go tag three pals:

I tagged --

VANILLA BEAN!!! Hehehe! That's cause my bro is brown and he's COCO BEAN!!! She is so funny and we love her! We always run right to her door when we are out.

Teeheehee... I love the treat so much!

So this morning momma, CB, and I were taking our walk when we saw our friends Jeff and Kate. Jeff and Kate are my ALL-TIME favorite friends these days and when I see them the world stops and we have to wait for them to stop and say hello to me cause I will NOT move one bit... except for the shivering with excitement that I do ;-)

Kate has been trying to gain CB's love and figured that like all other tzu children... the way to our hearts is through our stomachs... so she brought treats this morning. Well, here came Kate and she asked momma if we could have treats. So she pulls one out and CB RUNS straight for her, practically running right over me to get to her. He chomps on his treat and eats it right up. I, on the other hand, am getting my morning attention from Jeff so I come over after CB moves away with his treat. Kate takes a yummy smelling carob and vanilla cookie out of her pocket and I take it... run over to the grass, turn myself around and PEE on it! Let's just say everyone laughed and laughed... WHAT WAS I THINKING they screamed with laughter... What was I thinking? I'll leave it for later when I'm hungry and now no one will take it cause "IT'S MINE!". ;-)

Meeting little Alla...

Today was a special day... not just cause it was Mother's Day but because we got to meet a new friend of ours... little Alla!

She and her mommy (and sister) met up with us at the park. We were planning on being there for only a half hour but we all seemed to get along just fine so momma and Alla's momma and sister just chatted while the pups tried to be cute for treats ;-)

We were there for an entire hour and a half! Can you believe it? At one point we three pups were all running around (on leashes with tired humans on the other ends)...

All I can say is Alla would give anyone puppy fever!!! Poor pawrents at next weekend's meetup ;-)

An Easter Egg Hunt just for me!

Hi pups!

I had such a fun day yesterday! Momma and daddy took us to a "meetup" in the park. Not sure what that was at the time but boy was I excited to hear "park". I shook with excitement all the way down to the car. I observed all the perparations and thought "Let's just go!"

Well, it took 30 mins to get there and momma and daddy were a little scared when they saw how big the park was, but we looked way out over the park and saw an exercise pen with two little tzu's in it! CB and I tore across the green field straight for the line of trees leading up to the pen. In the pen were two little girls and they barked and barked at us!

Mom was scared at first to let us off our leashes but she warmed up and did finally. So we wandered around sniffing each other and hunting or eggs. It wasn't too hard to find those eggs. As everyone knows, our noses are fabulous for this! We must of eaten about 10 treats a piece while just walking and romping around in the grass. Of course we needed some help getting the eggs open but one of the pups actually figured out how to do it herself!

All-in-all it was a nice sunny day in the park with friends. 13 shih-tzus and their pawrents just enjoying the day and loving the pups!

Happy Easter everypup!

My Adventure with Auntie Marie!

Hi pups!

Yes, we spent an entire three days with Auntie Marie and Schitzo! It was indeed an adventure.

First of all, this is not a statement against any large-breed dog, just a frightening reality that they can be owned and trained by Irresponsible people.

The first night we were at Auntie Marie's I was attacked by a pitbull. Please don't worry, I am fine, except for being even more skittish around big dogs... momma thinks we should go to therapy... anyone know Cesar's number? ;-)

Auntie Marie was giving us a tour of her neighborhood, really beautiful filled with interesting smells and beautiful views of the ocean right nearby, when we were walking home from the overlook she showed us momma noticed two people walking big dogs, and as usual she tried to change course by walking down away from the sidewalk to the street thinking we would get out of their way. Well, as many of you know, us tzu's have different ideas about where and when we are going ;-)

Momma was walking us slowly toward the street when she thought she heard this man yell out his dog's name... next thing I remember momma was screaming and turning away lifting both CB and me off the ground by our harnesses ... Well that pitbull made a bee-line for me. Yup, I screamed bloody murder and the monster wouldn't let go of me even though momma was yanking on the leash and screaming too. Momma remembers what felt like minutes ticking by when we couldn't get this dog to let go... She scooped me up and I was still screaming. Auntie Marie took action and I'm not sure what would have happened if she hadn't been there but this man had to tackle his own dog... he was laying there on top of his dog trying to keep it from getting back up. Tons of neighbors came out and tried to help while momma checked me out but the young man and his dog (companion and her dog too) left the scene before we could get any of their information. He claimed he had to let his dog off it's leash cause it had gotten tangled in a tree... Now any of the multi-dog family pawrents know... you learn quickly how to deal with TWO dogs running around opposite sides of a tree so what was his problem? Probably the beer he was drinking ... maybe he didn't want to drop it ;-)

Anyway, Auntie Marie felt awful but it wasn't her fault at all. I am still grateful that she was there cause no way momma would have been able to keep both of us safe from that dog by herself. Auntie Marie saved the day and me!

Oh, and Auntie Marie KNOWS she headbutted something... either the owner or the dog... not sure but we know that probably slowed that darn monster down. AND he claimed I bit his dog first ... now you tell me... how can a flying tzu bite a pitbull coming at it from behind?

All is well ... really,
Chloe

P.S.
Yes we reported the incident but there are local laws that determine what is considered an "emergency". When Auntie Marie called the police, she was told it was not an emergency since no "human" had been attacked.

What a wonderful day!!!

The following is poem written for me by Rex Mi Amor:

The excitement has been building and the day is finally here...
For a sweet little gal named Chole...she is really so very dear!
She has already been one and two and finally she's three...
So, she's about as happy as a little pup can be!
Chloe loves her squeaky toys, bones, and her wet food...
Getting her favorites puts her in a joyous mood!
Who wouldn't be thrilled to celebrate her woofday...
When she's showered with lots of attention today!
Many of her pals want to send best wishes, Chloe, too...
And, all of us at the PlayGround and Pawty Place send them also to you!

Today seemed to be just like any other day, except... momma and daddy woke up and "SANG" to me! I was just so excited I ran around on the top of the bed KNOWING I was the center of attention. CB didn't even seem to mind!

Daddy had to go to work but I got to open my presents once he returned. Momma brought out a beautiful black bad with sparkly lettering on it. Daddy helped me open it and at first I was disappointed... A HARNESS! What's with that... but it was pretty and RED! Then came out my new squeaky toy, a cute little pink purse that momma helped pick out and let me tell you... I LOVE it!

Momma also got me a few new t-shirts and I will model them and put up pictures soon. She says I need a bath! HRMPFFFF!!!

Thank you to all my wonderful friends who have showered me with tons of attention today! I got a beautiful birthday picture from Willey Tucker at Dogpark and Rex Mi Amor wrote me the greatest poem. I also have received so many wonderful rosettes, pmail wishes, bones, and gifts... I am trully blessed with so much love. Thank you all for being the bestest of friends!

-Love and woofs,
Birthday girl Chloe... for a few more hours at least

So the countdown has begun... 8 days left!

Yup! Life is good! Since I've been sick, I've gotten WETFOOD and my bro... he still gets some dry kibble which he actually seems to enjoy. OH, and momma feeds me bits of wetfood a chunk at a time just to get me to eat!

But the countdown is for my Birthday!!! Yes! Yours trully will be 3 yrs. young! Momma is getting excited and thinks she should do it up big, but what to do? I have already gone shopping with her and picked out some nice new chews and a cool squeaky toy, but so far none of it has appeared! Do you think she took it all back when I got sick?

I really wasn't trying to be naughty.
