Arrival Story:
I found Sebastian on the Internet, via www.petfinder.com. We wanted a schnauzer, and he came up with no picture. I emailed the rescue organization (Pawing At Your Heart) to request a picture, and as soon as we got it, we were enchanted! My husband and I drove to Winder, GA (about an hour away), took one look at him, and adopted him. He sat in my lap the whole way home without barking or moving, but periodically licked at me and gave me loving looks. We've been in love with him ever since.

Bio:
Sebastian was found running in the country near the state border of Georgia and South Carolina, and was brought to the rescue organization with his sister, whose legs were 3 inches longer than his! He looks like a Schnauzer with a wrong-colored paint job, but has short Dachshund legs and a docked tail. Sebastian got his name from the "Little Mermaid." His cat sister is named Ariel, so we were hopeful it would promote interspecies friendship. Their first encounter concluded after he sniffed her butt and she swatted at him. Since then, she's avoided him. He looks at her and thinks, "Playmate." She looks at him and thinks, "Competition." I'm sure eventually they'll get it worked out!
