My Ways...

Carrots and More CARROTS

When I came to live with my humans, there were already 4 other grown up doggies...... George, Zena, Penny & Jezebel ( they were Mum & Dad's Cardi's )

Will when I was just a little tiny puppy I found if I followed Mum around this " special " room I could get the smells and " taste " testing of food off the floor sometimes ! !

Will a lot of the times mum use to trip over me...will I was only learning, all the other doggies never went into " this special " room.

So mum would not fall over me she taught me to sit on a special pillow and not move. Will I was really good, as everytime that I sat on my special pillow mum would give me a carrot, to chew on and that would keep me nice and still.....untill she was finish in her room.......I found out as I got bigger that the room was a kitchen......oh the smells...mmmmmmm yummmmmmm.

Even to this day my mum still gives me some carrot when she is cutting them up. ......YUMMIE

Some times it just gets toooooooo much for me, when mum has gone to the fruit shop and she brings home a packet of CARROTS....I just want to jump up and grab them.......

THE OTHER DAY IT GOT JUST TOOO MUCH FOR ME.....
and this is what happen....

Mum was in our kitchen...starting to get their dinner ready.
THEN she went to the fridge, open the door..
bent down to open the drawer where THEY are kept.........
THE CARROTS..
The mouth OPEN .....
in S L O W motion I moved forward .....wraped my mouth around the carrots mum had in her hand and.......
RAN LIKE THE WIND .....to under the table.......

The all I heard was mum CALLING out to my Dad.......
That DOG has done it...
" IT " took the carrots out of my HAND.......

Snoopy....Snooppppyyyyyy Get out of there....
HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE....it was not SNOOPY...
Dad thought that he had taken the carrots........
But when Dad came out he found it we ME.......

You have never seem a couple of carrots disappear so fast, into the deep deep deep TUMMY.

I think this is where my " Problem " with food started...allowing to sit in the kitchen and smelling all the yummie smells.......

Oh the smell was just SOOOOO Yummie!! !

Between Snoopy and ME we kinda keep Mum on her toes, with our eating habits.....

When Snoopy ate his mango, I think he thought he was eating " good " food.....

Will they say " fish " is good for you.........

I suppose I should tell you what I am saying here ! ! !

The other day My Dad and My Lara went fishing........
They wont take me as when I see water I just go so SILLY, cause I LOVE water, so Dad tells me that he goes fishing not to chase me in the water....MEAN DAD ! ! ! ! ! !

Will after a few hours they came back......no fish, that was no good.....no healthly food.....for ME.

Will dad put his fishing things away, bucket, lines, rods, chair, basket. I was following him just incase ....you never know what might drop......
just like dad, he NEVER leaves anything that should not be.
BUT...
he did forget to put his prawns that he did not use back in the fridge......
Snifing Snifing Snifing I POUNCED grab the newspaper the prawns were wraped in, and made a run for it..............

Daisy ..Daisy, Daisy,Daaaaassssiiiiiiyyyyyyy, Daisy dinner time...

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO.....

YIPES ...she could smell my breath.......
Mum went on a search and find and found a little bit of paper and NO Prawns..........
I dont know who got into more trouble me or my poor Dad ! !

I think Snoopy said something about a sore BOTTI...
Will mine was not as bad, but there were lots of a paper deliveries in our back yard ! ! ! !

Will the next time I find something Yummie.......
I mean I will TRY and be good....
Let me see.............
Nar that is NEVER GOING to happen..............

My Mum is on a Mission....

When my mum makes up her mind NOTHING can change it.......
She is Mum on a Mission.....

Will today she was looking at Tripods toe nails and said that they need to be cliped as they were VERY long......
She tells us it is because he hops and bounces instead of walking......

Hey just a thought he just might be part " kangaroo ". or " wallaby "
Mmmmm will have to look in to that... ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Any way......

Tripod sat there for her ...OH he is such a Mummys boy sitting there all good and not moving......

Snoopy sat next to mum and had his nails done...OH he was SUCH a GOOD boy......

Zena..will she was half asleep as she was sitting in the sun when she had hers done, she did not move an inch.....

Mickey was lucky he only had one nail done..again he was a goodie goodie...

Taylor will she had the PERFECT nails nice and short, so no cutting there..

Then there was ME... Yes......then it was MY turn....
I was just sitting there watching the others getting theirs done, just waiting ,waiting ,waiting, waiting.....planing my GETAWAY.

Mum thinks I did not see her hide the clippers behind her back as she made her way closer.....closer...closer......

Off I ran as fast I could........
Where to hide ....... the best place....THE ONLY place....
Under the table..
With Mums bad knees, she can't crawl under the table REALLY fast...YES... Good spot.......BOL BOL BOIL
She walked away, I came out, she thought that she could catch me.......NO WAY....She will NEVER get me ! ! !

After trying to get me out with " special treats " and the promise of a " walk "....I was not going to get caught out by that.......
Does she really think I am that silly..............

I know there will be another try to get my nails done, BUT it is soooooo much fun getting away from her.....
Dad was watching all the time and he was just laughing so much that MUM gave him this REALLY strange look..........I don't think his was in Mums " good books " also..........

I am sure Mum will "Think " of another mission very soon, and it will invole all of us.........MAYBE
