Arrival Story:
A friend was going to the R.S.P.C.A to get a puppy. I went also, not to get one as we had 4 other dogs. BUT what happens.. a set of eyes made me melt . We got female puppy and named her Bella. We picked her up the next day.Three days after she became ill...it was Parvo, my friends puppy had the same. Sadly Bella died 5 days after taking her to the vet, my friends puppy lived. Out of a litter of 8 only 3 survived. We rung the pound and they said we could get a refund.....but what does a doggie lover do......we were told there was a litter that was being hand raised as the mother had died 2 days after they were born. We went and saw them, there were 8 puppies, and we picked Daisy..Will my husband did. We picked her up 5 1/2 weeks later. It was such a long wait until she was ours

Bio:
Daisy's father was handed in also, so we were lucky to know what her two breeds were, he was a Border Collie and her mother a Dalmation. Any body who she meets she SMILES at them..a bit scary as you see these white teeth looking at you, but she is the biggest sook....

Forums Motto:
Keep smiling

Daisy I cant believe you would of been 12 years old.....
It was only yesterday that we brought you home from the RSPCA.....

To think you were going to have a very long life with us, and then to have it cut short by that terrible disease.....I think that what upset me the most....even till this day...

Hope for your Woof Day at The Bridge, you get to go for a Angel Car ride.....you loved your rides......

Especially when I ALWAYS had to sit on the back seat, as you always jump on my seat, in front and would not move....could it of been, you could see more things.

You sat there so still, just like a Princess...I think if you could you would of waved to every one......

Miss you so much Daisy Baisy.....I don't think there are words that I would write to show you.....

Hugs and Kisses....

Forever and Ever...xxxxxxxxx

Friendly....that is the Under statement....! ! ! ! !

You hear so often how friendly a dog is......

Will I think when "friendly" was being give out Daisy was give an over dose...I mean a HUGH over dose....

From the moment we saw her till the day she was called from us, she did not have a mean bone in her body...

She loved just EVERBODY..not once in all her life did she growl or give a "stare" at anybody that meet her....

She was the BEST guard dog you could ask for.....
as soon as anybody walked into the house we would have to grab Daisy......WHY, cause she would not let them walk pass her, I mean she would stand so close to the person for a FULL body pat...head, side, along her back EVERWHERE...and MORE......

BUT.....always a BUT....

People that did not know her became a little frighten...
Picture this....big black dog running, full pace towards you, she will not let you pass.....

AND...

she looks up at you with all her front teeth showing...

YES....

she was smiling.....the full front teeth showing, or sometimes, as we say the "Elvis" smile, when she would only lift one side of her mouth....

We were told this was a thing Dalmations did....will she did it.!!!!!

Water EVERYWHERE......

Daisy was our "first" water dog.....She LOVED water....

Bath time was the best she would just stand there and enjoy..the perfect girl....

BUT...there were times when that was not the way it was....**smile**

My Hubby use to drive me to work....nothing with that but the trip from home to my work, was about 20mins, of that 10 mins was drivig along the water edge, and of cause Daisy was SOOOOOOOO SOOOOO happy to see water she would cry with total excitement.... as we passed the water she would just sit there on the front seat as if there was not a care in the world with her, and just enjoy looking out the window.....

We also have tidal baths near us.....now that was her favourite spot as she could swim and swim, and we had no worry of her swimming tooo far **smile**

But there were times when we could not get her out....she would just keep swimming and swimming....a very funny site....will other people did, while watching us try to get her out of the water.!!!!!!

Now taking her to the beach is another story........
