Arrival Story:
Lady was a Stray dog... who really belonged to our neighbors. We had just put our sweet Shannon dog to sleep, (she was 18) when Lady started hanging around. She was just a pup! She didn't even have a collar, so for fear she we be picked up, we gave her Shannon's old collar. It was winter, and we knew the neighbors didn't take good care of her... so we would buy Tony Dog Food for her... and let her in the warm house in the mornings while we got ready for school. Finally, one day, we decided we should tell the neighbors we had been taking care or her & she had been at our house, in case they were worried. They denied they ever had Lady & said they were going to call the pound on her! Well, we adopted her on the spot! We had planned to get a smaller dog after Shanny, but Lady had already become part of the Family. She has been a bit of a traveller. She began her life in TN, then moved to Georgia with the family. She also spent a little time with me in college... but the party life was not one for Lady, so she moved back home with the Parents... and she has been in Hendersonville, TN ever since.

Bio:
UPDATE: Sadly, Lady has moved on to pastures that are rolling and always green. Lady is now watching over us from doggie heaven. She left us in August 2006. It was one of the hardest things to do, but we know she is more comfortable now. I hope to see her again one day. I love you Lady.. and still miss you. She's quite possibly theFriendliest Pup you will ever meet.. but she won't show you love... she's NO kissing dog! But, she does Smile!
