A day in the life

Poor Paw!!

On March 14, my owner noticed that I had a small but deep laceration on my caudal pad on my front left foot. So, my mom brought me to her work, she works at a vet clinic, to get it stitched up. I was a little nervous at first, and they put a muzzle on me just to be safe. Then the doctor looked at my foot. She said it wasn't has bad as she though, and then she numbed it with some lidocaine. My mom was there with me the whole time, hugging my head. I got four stitches!! My mom just took my stitches out yesterday. It looks really good, and I haven't licked it at all!! i have a small bandage sore on the bottom of my foot but that will heal in a couple days. As for me, I'm off to play again!! My mommy got me some tennis balls yesterday and we've been playing with my Chuck-It. See ya!!

AAAALLLLL Better!!!!

Just this past thursday my mom took out my stitches. I feel much better and i'm running and playing just like my old self. Not much has changed personality wise, i still growl a lot, but i'm a little more mushier. I still love my toys and my food and my bed. And i still don't like the cat. No weight gain or anything like that.

Oh no!!

When i was a puppy, my dad wanted to breed me. but i don't get along well with other dogs so it never happened. i was never neutered. this past sunday my mom decided it was time to kiss my balls goodbye. she brought me to work with her (she works at an emergency clinic) and i spend all day in the cage, waiting for my surgery. she visited me lots though. i dont remember anything about my surgery, except that i woke up on the table and then fell off. then they put this big cone over my head and i went home. the first couple of days i didnt feel good. my mom took off the cone the other day. i left my stitches alone at first, so she wouldnt put it back on. but yesterday i chewed and chewed and licked! well she found out this morning, so now i have the cone back on. i should be going this weekend to get the stitches taken out and then i wont have to wear the cone anymore. wish me luck!!
