Arrival Story:
Poor Cassie has been in and out of rescue a couple of times. Because of her fear of the outside world, people just gave up trying to rehabilitate her. For the first two years of her life, she was tied out on a chain and beaten every time she did something "wrong". She is even missing teeth where the guy hit her so hard he knocked them out of her mouth. She associates outside with trauma. Although she is coming along and starting to calm down when walking with our "pack", it still breaks my heart to see her so fearful. I am so thankful that this beautiful lady came into my life and I only hope I am able to help her enjoy a "dog's life".
Bio:
Well, Cassie has been in the family for almost five months and she just got her CGC! Not bad for a dog who could barely stand to be outside long enough to potty. These rescue dogs are the best dogs I've ever had, and I am just so glad to be part of their lives!!
