Arrival Story:
Chance came from the Olive Branch Humane Society in Mississippi. He was very ill with heartworms and terribly underweight. In just a years time, he was a big, beautiful, hefty 120 pounds. He had spondylosis, a fusing of his vertebrae and it caused him extreme pain and at times, loss of movement. He received acupuncture therapy which helped him so much and he came to love his visits each month because he always got a popsicle. Sadly, he lost his life to leptospirosis in 2002.
