Fostering is a tough business

Mom and I have been fostering other basenjis for a few years now, and most of them stay for a few months and then go to their forever homes. Our last foster stayed for a year. I liked her a lot, but she was a little snarky. I didn't mind cause I knew she was older and not as fun as myself. I did get her out of her shell and showed her a good time.

It's quiet in the house now, just me and mom.
