I was ADOPTED today!!

I got a NEW home!! My family was looking pretty much the whole time I lived here, for a new home for me. They thought I might be happier in a new home! ANyway, I have new SISTERS, ones with TWO legs, and a new doggie sibling! I will tell you more about my new home once I have lived there for a few days!!

Well, I am looking for a new home again!!

Mommy and Daddy found out Saturday that Vancouver also has a 3 dog limit if you live in the city. That means I need to find a new home! Mommy is especially saddened by the news, and she hasn't even told Sandy it is happening! I really love it here, and I feel like I belong. Mommy promises me that we will find another home, close by, that will love me just as much and make me feel just as much like I belong!

Well, we are all kind of sad about this, so I won't go on here. I will post again later with more details. Now I am just going to play with Sandy and my kittens!

Well, chewing through things isn't ALWAYS all bad.....

Since I chewed through my plastic crate the other day, Mommy and Daddy got me a new METAL crate!! They bought it off craigslist.org for much cheaper than a new one, so I don't feel TOO badly about chewing my old one. besides, Charger got his new "bedroom" out of it as well, so he kind of likes me a little bit now....I did say KIND OF!!

So my new crate is wonderful!! my bed fits in there very nicely!! It is a store bought bed that I came here with.....I can't wait for it to fall apart so Mommy MAKES ME a brand new one!! She made everyone else beds and places to sleep!!! It's okay, I know one of these days it will be my turn! I have plenty of time to figure out what color I want!!

My new crate is so cool and wonderful that my brother Diego slept in there with me last night! It was kind of cramped, but I really enjoy having siblings to do fun things with, so I put up with it. Diego NEVER likes being close to me, so this was really cool!! Tonight though, MY crate is ALL MINE!!

I made Daddy proud today!

My Daddy was really happy with me on my walk today! He let me go with the leash attached to the back of my harness instead of making me wear my Halti on my nose. I was extra careful not to pull too hard, so maybe I won't have to wear the Halti too much any more! I even kept my voice down when we walked past some people I didn't know. I still had to greet them, but Daddy doesn't like it when I yell a lot!

Mommy and Daddy left me this morning to take Zelda away to be spayed, and I had to poop really bad. I figured out how to pull some of the pieces out of the holes in my den. I didn't get a big enough hole to get out before Mommy and Daddy got home. Daddy let me out and I ran to the hard floor and pooped. Mommy and Daddy didn't even get very mad at me, but now they are talking about getting a metal wire den to replace the plastic one I made the hole in. There will be pictures of the plastic here later.

Sand paper kisses

Mommy likes to tease me about my sloppy wet sand paper kisses. You see, when I kiss, there is nothing dainty about it. I get inside the nose sometimes, and if you open your mouth....well I do tonsils too. Aside from making Mommy and Daddy laugh, I get to give love MY way!! Diego and Sandy and even Charger all give nice sweet neat little kisses. Not me!! Diego says he used to kiss like me, but he says he gets more kisses now that he kisses neater. BAH!! I don't want to kiss like that so they will have to deal with my kisses.

Now, Mommy also teases me about my rough sand paper kisses. She says I must be half CAT!! She's got nerve!! She is lucky I kiss her at ALL after that, but I just love her so much!! To think, she compared my kisses to a CAT!! Oh wait, the only cat we have that kisses is Meisha....Hmm, so I kiss like my Meisha!! Okay Mommy, I'll let you slide on this one, just because I like my Meisha!!

Wet sloppy sand paper kisses anyone? I have a lot to give!!!

I have news!

Aunt Terri and Uncle Lee have been looking for a new home for me for just over a month. They never really wanted me to move out, they just can't keep me where they live now. The other day Uncle Lee came in and told Aunt Terri that he just couldn't imagine live without me. Aunt Terri agreed, so I am STAYING!!

I would now like to say I love my sister, Sandy. It is HER acceptance of me that makes it so hard for anyone here to want me to leave! Diego is great, but he is just after my toys! Charger, well Charger still lives to bark at me.

Ant the kittens!! This means I get to KEEP my kittens!! I can have my Meisha FOREVER!! Woooohooooo!!!

I love it here!! Thank you MOMMY and DADDY!!

This being up for adoption is HARD!!

Aunt Terri and Uncle Lee have been putting my information out here and there, and it seems no one wants me, even though Aunt Terri says I am the prfect dog...

People run with fear of me when they hear I have some Pit Bull in me. I know that Pit Bulls have a bad rap, but most Pits are wonderful dogs!! Add to that the fact that I am only PART Pit, and well it is really hard to understand why people won't even MEET me!!

Then there are people like the couple I met the other day. Aunt Terri and Uncle Lee piled us all in the car and carted us to a new dog park, in the RAIN!! They people were very aloof to me and my family, and I don't think they were interested from the beginning. Unfortunately they were not nice enough to say anything while we were at the park, except they would call...

Yesterday Aunt Terri wrote them an email telling me they obviously didn't want me, and it was a good thing because they were not getting me. We don't understand why they couldn't have said something at the park, or called, or emailed!! My first encounter with a new potential family and the people were RUDE!! I wonder if all dogs up for adoption go through this?!?

The lady got very nasty with Aunt Terri in an email this morning, using cuss words because she said I didn't want them!! Well no, I didn't want them!! I knew what they were when I first saw them!!

It's okay though, I will end up exactly where I am supposed to be! I am in a loving home now with a great family. THIS may be my family, who knows!?! If this is my family though, they have to move so they can have more than the 3 dogs....Aunt Terri and Uncle Lee are thinking about that possibility, so we will see. It will all work out in the end!!

They bought the BEST toy EVER the other day!!

Okay, okay, so they bought it for the kittens, but it is SO MUCH FUN!! I just love those little feather toys that are supposed to be for cats! Have you ever chased one of those things? It is so much fun!! Uncle Lee was laughing so hard at me, he had to sit down! Aunt terri says I play like a cat.....did she stop to think that MAYBE, just maybe the cats play like DOGS!? This thing is almost as much fun as unstuffing my toys!!

Gotta go now, Aunt Terri has pulled out the feather toy!!!

My kitty, Meisha!

Yes, I have decided that Meisha is MINE!! She really seems to enjoy playing with me, so I love her for it! Today Uncle Lee took some video of the 2 of us playing, but it came out really dark. Aunt Terri has to edit it so it will be easier to view, then she will post it on my page!

Meisha loves to wrestle with me! It looks like I am hurting her at times, but she doesn't ever try to get away, and she moves closer to me! She is SO MUCH FUN!! She knows i would never hurt her, not in a million years, so she plays rough with me! I think I am gonna miss her as much as I will miss Sandy when I find a new home!! It's okay though, I will take their love and my memories with me, so....And who knows, if I move close, maybe I can visit... Maybe I won't really need a new home, maybe I can stay here forever!! I don't know, I just know Meisha is a lot of FUN!

It feels SOOOOOOOOOO good!!

I love to be brushed. I will just sit and let you brush me for as long as you want. I don't even bother the kittens when I am being brushed! Yep, it feels THAT good! I hope when I find a new home that my new family will enjoy brushing me!! It just feels SOOOOOO good!!!
