My Sweet Maggie Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

My Sweet Maggie is now running and playing with her Aire Brothers over the Rainbow Bridge. She was weak from kidney failure and we made the tough decision to help her cross the bridge. She was the sweetest dog I have ever had and everyone liked her. I loved her and miss her terribly. Be happy my Seet Maggie until we meet again.

My cousin crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

My cousin Sassy crossed the Rainbow Bridge last week. My mom said she took a nap and never woke up. I know that Sass wasn't feeling well lately. She was 13 years old and having a hard time moving around. She is with my brothers Buddy and Sampson, and I know they are having fun running around and splashing on the lake. I miss you guys! Aire kisses to Buddy, sampson and Sassy.

2. I am scared of Thunderstorms.

3. I like car rides. Mom lets me sit in the front seat.

4. I have black ears. Most Airedales have tan ears. When I haven't been groomed for a few months and mom brushes my fur out I look like a Panda bear.

5. I sleep upside down in front hall with all four paws in the air.

6. I love to dig holes and hide in them so mom can't find me.

7. I am a rescue Airdale. Mom picked me out last year and took me to my forever home. I am really happy living here.

A very sad day

Today my Aire brother Buddy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I didn't want him to go, but he was old and so sick he couldn't even stand up. Dad wrapped him up in a warm sheet and he and mom took Buddy for his final trip to the vet's. Mom and Dad came back really sad, but they told me that Buddy was now healthy again, and running with Sammy over the Rainbow Bridge. I loved my brother and will miss him a lot.

Let it Snow!

I love the snow! Buddy and I were outside this afternoon chasing squirrels. I sat under the walnut tree for a long time watching the squirrel watch me watch him! We have a lot of snow drifts in our yeard, and by the time we go in the house we are coated with snow. Mom rubs the snow off with a big fluffly towel when we come in the house. That feels so good! She tries to keep me from shaking the snow off before I get rubbed down, but sometimes I get to shake first and snow flies all over the laundry room. Mom added a picture of me with my offical Airedale hair cut, and one of me in the snow looking in the tree.

Tomorrow will be five months that I have lived with my new forever family. My name is Maggie, but mom and dad call me Maggie Mayhem because I am always doing things that I'm not suppose to. When mom and dad picked me up in July, I had to have my "dreadlocks" shaved because I was so matted. I looked bad! Now I look like a fuzzy bear. After my last bath and brush at the groomers, I came back looking like a wooley bear. I get my "official" Airedale haircut next week.

I have one brother, Buddy T Airedale. He's almost 12, and only plays when he wants to. I like to dig holes in the backyard. I lay in the holes and watch mom look for me. Then I jump out and surprise her! I tried to get Buddy to help dig my Airedale Holes, but he just lays in the sun and sleeps.

I have two cousins, Quincy and Charley and a cat cousin named Goshia. they live in Michigan with my moms granddaughter.
