Pet-Peeves: Does not seem there is anything she can't turn into play.... She can be stared at or barked at by other dogs, it's strickly no concern of hers (makes the other dog ABSOLUTELY mad, of course ! :).

Favorite Food: Dried stomach is her treat, she would climb trees for it (it stinks, forgive my French !)
Favorite Walk: Anyplace will do as long as it's a loong walk. Shall we take a frisbee along ?!
Best Tricks: Making friend with all kind of animals, tame or wild !
Arrival Story: We knew the mating was to take place, and we knew we wanted a female from the resulting litter. We visited the breeder when the pups were about 3 weeks old. It was the end of June and extremely hot when we got there. The mother and the puppies were asleep in a shady corner of the kennel, the mother opened her eyes and was observing us as we came in, but nothing moved. Nothing ? Yes, a little black shape detached itself from the group and walked boldly into the sunshine. The breeder had scattered little rubber tubes for the puppies to chew on and play with. Our little black friend picked up a length of tube and brought it to us ! As soon as the tube was seized the puppy pulled it in a tug of war contest ! The first of many to come ! We never looked at the siblings that day. As soon as we realised our little friend was a girl we knew she was to be it ! A long month later we went to pick her up. We saw her siblings then... Well as you might guess, she was the most beautiful one !!!!!! :) - And that's how we did not pick Pawnee, she picked us: soo young and already sooo smart ! _________________________________
Our BigBoy Heathcliff had remained home when we went to pick up his little sister. We wanted to introduce them carefully, he was so big, she was so small and fragile... We did it in the garden, Jan sat down and took Heaffy between his knees, with his arms around the dog's neck. I brought the puppy from the car and carefully put her down 6 or 7 metres from them. The second her paws were on the ground Pawnee took off , one second later she was up with her front paws around Heaffy's neck, licking his face !!! Our BigBoy was immediately hopelessly in love. We never had to worry as to the whereabouts of the puppy, she had her guardian angel... During the first few weeks, she liked playing with Heathcliff's ears, she had sharp little claws and teeth, Heathcliff got bleeding ears, he did not care. Pawnee was a poor eater as a pup, food held no interest, she wanted to play. Even the vet got worried though he could not find anything physically wrong with her, she was losing weight. I noticed that she would leave her dish but lick Heaffy's food while he was eating, he never complained. I started giving Heathcliff puppy's food, Pawnee put on weight. Playing with her, Heathcliff started behaving like a pup himself, they would chase one another around trees or a table, vie for the same stick or ball.... Pawnee is a toy addict. If she is not carrying a toy, she will pick up a stick but no walk is a walk if she is not carrying something between her jaws. She loves cuddles but they have to end with a play: touch my paw, I'll touch your hand with my other paw and so on... She does not like going outside alone during the day, but at night, when all is dark, she will often go to the door and bark 3 times: "let me out!" No one knows what she meets prowling the land in the late hours before sleep. It's Pawnee's secret....

Those 7 things you will love to know about myself:
1. I was born near the lovely town of Sarlat, France, on June 2nd 1999.
2. Both my furry Mom and Dad were very reputable show and sport GSDs.
3. I love canine sports but I promptly grew long hair to avoid the beauty shows :)
4. I never bark at visitors, whenever anyone visits I immediately go and pick up a toy to entertain everyone.
5. I have a beautiful collection of toys, some to play indoors, some outdoors.I know very well which are which.
6. I can perfectly accept not to be the center of attention, up to 30 seconds at a time....
7. I thought the internet an absolutely useless distraction to my bipeds until they discovered Dogster !
