Arrival Story:
I found Chase and his sister living in a wooded area. It took 2 days to catch them, thus the name. They were about 3 months old. His sister is living with the other person who helped me catch them. Chase is a shy guy and lacks confidence. He's happiest just lying on my bed or sprawled out on the couch. He's not much for going places or for walks; he's deathly afraid of going into the woods. At one time, Chase was up for adoption until I realized that he was not a completely average dog and hubby decided he should stay with us because we understand him and he feels safest here.

Bio:
Sadly, Chase is no longer with us. Chase had a transferred aggression problem that became apparent about a year ago. I tried working with him, but due to the socialization he missed as a pup, he could not be saved. When he began endangering the others, something had to be done. It is never easy being a rescue. Having to make this decision was even harder. May you find peace now, Chase.
