Arrival Story:
Blue was found in a newspaper ad in Visalia, Ca. see above. This was the picture in the paper and the phot was sent to me also. She was a purebred with papers, and was the runt of the family. So they sold me to me for $200.00. This was all I knew about Blue until she was delivered.
Bio:
Blue is a double dapple. One eye appears to be smaller than the other. I believe she suffers from Microphthalmia. I had no idea this was a common condition for double dapples nor did I know what a double dapple was. When she was picked up her eye was noticed the breeder said the vet had seen her and said she would grow out of it or it would heal on its own, there was no mention of the broken tail . I myself had never seen one with the coloring of Blue . She was the coolest doxie I had ever seen and fell in love with her picture. I really should have done more reseach, but none of that is important now. Blue also has had a broken tail from the time I got her. I named her after her blue eyes. Blue is a friendly dog who loves people, children and other dogs. She is very active and energetic. If she does have a handicap you would never know it.
