Arrival Story:
Grace came to me with parvo at 8 weeks of age; she was near death. Two weeks later and 2 IV lines, we knew she was going to be fine. At 5 months, Grace was diagnosed with severe bi-lateral hip dysplasia, non-operable, and osteoarthritis and given two years. She just celebrated her 4th birthday in March. She has been a bundle of energy, never letting her handicap slow her down, not even when it came to climbing an 8 foot privacy fence. Until we figured out a way to stop her. Now, she is finally settling down and becoming a sweet loving girl who only wants to be as close to her people as she can get.
Bio:
Grace must think she is part hound. She spends her days chasing the squirrels along the fence line and when they run across the roof of the house. She is never still unless she is snoring, loudly, in a deep sleep, sprawled out in any of her favorite places around the house.
