Arrival Story:
Lady was chained to a cinder block when I found her 10 years ago. I nearly lost her when she underwent heartworm treatment and developed secondary infections; since then, we have been bonded heart and soul. For many years we camped and hiked within a 5 state area. Now, we're both too old for hiking, so Lady has become a certified therapy dog and visits old folks and children. She loves her visits and is always happy to see whomever wants to pet and love on her. She loves to give kisses, nicely, on the chin.
Bio:
Lady and I did extensive training to become a certified pair in assisted therapy thru The Delta Society. She also recently completed and successfully passed her temperament test.
