Arrival Story:
So in the fall of 06 i was a newly wed with no intention to bring another K9 into our family. We had Cooper and he was ENOUGH. But, Mud came along. Mud was an 'accident'. She was supposed to be a dog that I was going to baby sit. It never occured to me what I might get or what might happen afterwards. I had posted my name and number at a jewel that i could watch dogs over the holidays. Well, I got a response. Someone with a young dog, i could watch there or at my place. It was only for two days. They almost seemed indifferent that she was even cared for at all. When i met her i knew they WERE indifferent about everything about her. At this point her name was Mig. She was only 6 weeks. She was taken from her mother (a fighter from chicago) at 4 weeks. She was put outside and tied up with twine. She was fed, but not well. Not vaccinated, and certainly not cleaned. She felt like rubber. She had cuts on her throat from the rope. But most seriously, her tail was broken in numerous places. When asked, they said it happened when they were training her and not to worry about it. Heh. Ri-ight. So i said sure, and said my place was fine. I brought her home and called Animal control. When animal control went to the residence they denied that they even owned her and said they didnt know me. Mig became Mud, because she was OBSESSSED with mud and Cooper was in love and our family turned to four.

Bio:
After about two month of having Mud in our home, our world shattered. Cooper violently left us. Mud's best friend, and my first dog, was suddenly gone. Over time we all adjusted, and Mud became top dog. No more daddy Cooper to boss her around in her brain. She just turned one! And wow does she have an attitude as alpha! I wish i could say i know that my dog knows im alpha but mud.... mud shes clever. she knows shes my baby and no evil can be done. She knows though she'll be yelled at she'll get scraps at dinner. She knows that even though she has a 90 dollar dog bed, s he STILL sleeps with me. :) Mud wiggles when she hears her name, and runs and jumps like the wind. Shes crazy about balls, frizbees, other dogs and mud mud mud. she loves to eat it, dig in it, roll in it, and just lick it. We tried house plants, she ate them. We moved to a house because she liked mud so much, our yard it moslty mud because she ATE the grass in patches so she would have the mud. its terrible she is indeed our Mud Puppy. :) Mud currently has no brothers or sisters though my parents lab is her best friend. Hes on our family page incase you were curious :)
