Birthday: November 7th 2005 Likes: Playing fetch, picked up and held, agility, pink fluffy bed, wrestling with Coco, sleeping in big bed. Pet-Peeves: Puppymills, loud noises, When Coco-Poo gets more attention then her. Favorite Toy: Pink bunny, duck, weird ball. Favorite Food: Chicken jerky, nutra food, carrots. Favorite Walk: Down the street, the trail. Best Tricks: Sit, stay, down, gives kisses. Arrival Story: First I checked the local shelters to see if they had any Chihuahua's they didn't have any. I knew that dogs from pet store's come from puppymills so a pet store was completely out of the question. So I began looking for a dog on the internet and I found a nice web site that had Chihuahuas, I thought that it was strange that they were willing to send a dog to me when I lived very close, but I said that I wanted to see all of the dogs. When I did get to see some of the dogs, they were in cages on top of one an other, there were dogs so tiny I didn't think that they were old enough to be away from their mom. My Rosa was in a cage with four other puppies and they had dog's outside in another building that I didn't get to see. I know that I should not have given any money to scum like that, but when Rosa was let out of her cage she ran on my lap and gave me a kiss, then ran around the room jumping over the backs of the other puppies. She was so sweet and agile I had to have her. I turned these people in and they were fined. I was told they were puppy mill brokers. Puppymill brokers are people that buy puppies from puppymills then sell them to pet store's and over the internet. Bio: Rosa was five months old when I got her and she was underweight, had ringworm, and was yellow instead of white. Also her toes were slightly splayed from not having her nails cut and her feet were sore and cracked from walking in waste. We are so happy that the only problems so far from this horrible start in-life is a very sensitive tummy and skin. Rosa is full of love and love's both animals and people. Forums Motto:
Dear Diary,
I'm so excited, Chachi gave me a star. I'm so happy. He is the most awesome dog ever, I could stare in his dreamy Chihuahua eyes for hours. I hope that every one has a happy and joy filled Valentines Day, like me.
Dear Diary,
This is my first entry and it is about the most handsome, calm submissive dog named Daddy. I want to be his valentine. Yeah I know that some people will think how can a 4 pound chihuahua and a big strong pit bull be valentines; well Daddy was raised by Cesar Millan the Dog Whisperer to be around all kinds of dogs and to have a balanced energy. I hear that he is very tolerant to smaller dogs and lets them do whatever they want to him JOY JOY! The best thing about Daddy is that he is an example of how, when a pit bull is raised right, they can be a wonderful companion and even a valentine for a chihuahua.
Exercise, Discipline, then Affection, even for a tiny thing like me.
