Summer is almost over....bummer

We've been busy this summer for sure. My family took me to Michigan and i got to ride on a pontoon boat. That was fun mmmhmmmm. We've been to the lake many times...Mommy lets me off my leash there and i get to run in the waves...as long as they are not so big...those big ones scare me. I get to smell all the cool stuff on the beach. Mommy wont let me chase the seagulls. She says they are rats with wings and nasty. I think they look like my squeeky toy at home.
My kids have started school. It makes me sad when they leave but when I hear the bus go past the house i know they will be at the back door soon so i meet them there and howl with joy...OH Mommy taught me how to "speak"...he he he...i have a very loud bark and sometimes Mommy says she wishes she didnt teach me how....hehehehe.
Mommy had to go to her doctor and have knee surgery. Those long silver sticks she uses to help her walk are SCAREY. I bumped them when Mommy was sitting at the table in the kitchen and they fell on the floor and made the most scarey noise i ever heard. I ran upstairs and wouldnt come down until Mommy was back on the couch.
Mommy says she will have new pictures of me on here as soon as she can get to walgreens and get them made.

My first week

Well life is good for this hound dawg. I have learned "sit" with the help of some yummy treats. I'm no longer afraid of the stairs and I love to run up and down them.

I don't like my crate much. But i do go in it. At night I sleep either on the couch...who would of known it could be soooooooooo comfy.....or in my kids beds or sometimes in mum's bed....but i do hog the covers.....LOL

I went for my first walk today. The leash isn't so scary and there are soooooooo many cool smells out there. Who would of thought that it could be so exciting in town. I even found an old smelly fish carcass down by the river.....Mum wouldn't let me roll in it though....lol

Mum said that when it warms up we're all going to the State Park so i can walk in the woods and go to the beach.

I am going to obedience class soon....my kids are going to come with.....Mum said its going to be fun and I get to play with other dogs.

Ok I'm pretty tuckered from my walk so i will add more in a few days.

Day two

Hi there. PHEW!!!! Sooooo much has happened since i left my foster mom Nancy's house in TN Friday night. I spent the night at Aunt Candace's house and we started on my long trip to my new forever home the next morning. I met all kinds of nice folks along the way who told me about my new home and some people called "The Packers" and cheese heads...that sounds yummy.

When i finally got to meet my new family....my mom Jackie, the lil man she calls Josh...he's pretty cool and Britt my mom's daughter...i really like Britt...she lets me sleep in her bed. I also saw SNOW for the first time. WOW is it FUN!!!! When we finally got to my new home my mom put me in the back yard to play for a while and i ran and ran and jumped and played for a long time. I finally got tired and we went into the house so i could check it out. There are so many neat things....the "couch" which is very comfy and "stairs" they scare me a little so i don't go down them without mom being with me. I spent the day in my crate while my kids were at school and mom was at work. I was soooooo happy when they came home. I had my dinner....mmmmmmmmmm good stuff and played in the snow some more.

yyyyaaaawwwnnnn ok i'm pretty tuckered out so i'm going to say bye for now.
