Arrival Story:
Rescued from a trainer that could not control him. It is a sad day today. I came home last night, Sunday 11/6/05 and found my boy Tightass dead in the front yard. He was just 7 ½ years old. There are no apparent causes, no marks such as bites, gunshots, foaming from the mouth. He was just lying by the fence. He has been healthy and happy with no coughing, fever, not off his food, just the same happy boy he always is. Guess I will never know why. Tightass was my friend, protector, and riding buddy and I will miss him very much. This has been a tough 12 months, a year ago I lost my 14 year old Shepherd Havoc, in April I lost Lupa my Cane Corso pup to heat stroke, and my old girl Sandy (German Shepherd) is 15 but hanging in there. Tightass was the Founder of Steelhorse K9’s and loved to ride. He was obedience and protection trained and was a great ambassador to both the Pitbull and motorcycle world. Run Free my friend, I will miss you sleeping with your head on my shoulder every night. I will see you again one day.
