Arrival Story:
I bought him because he was born on the day before my birthday and we celebrated together with a cupcake shared every year. When I first got him, his face was battered from a Chow pup in a carrier on the plane next to him. He was traumatized from the plane ride. Terrified of noises and every thing and every one. It took months to get him over his fears. We have 2 web sites where you can see and learn more about our fur family:ancestry bio and lots of pics

Budman was the loving father to 2 litters. He was the father to our Mariah who came at 5 weeks old to live with her dad. Nomo had seizures set in during 2001 (due to his nervous nature and household being disrupted with elderly stroke damaged parent). Once we had the seizures under control, he had cancer set in shortly after which he battled for almost 2 years. The vets couldn't remove or do any thing with the growth due to his seizure meds. But it didn't change his personality up until the day before he died when we could tell he was tired of the fight and wanted to be at peace. Nomo will be sooo sadly missed. He was one of my most valuable team members prior to his medical problems. Please watch the Eight Below video on his page because he truly loved pulling a sled and running with his daughter, Mariah.
