Arrival Story:
Silas was left in the night drop box at Hayward (California) Animal Shelter in June 1999. I saw him sitting in his kennel, a quiet, perplexed dog in a sea of barkers. Seven days later he was home to stay.

Bio:
Silas has a little bit of the devil in him. He has a sense of humor, and will occasionally do naughty things just to get caught. Despite these proclivities, he managed to become a Canine Good Citizen in 2002. In December 2005, Silas moved from Berkeley, California to New Zealand, where everyone think he's a freakishly fat Border Collie.
