Arrival Story:
On 12/20/06 I got a call from somebody that had found 2 stray dogs running around in a busy intersection. He took them home but was not able to keep both of them because he already had 2 other ones. So, I offered to take in one of them since I didn't have enough room for the both of them. The couple that found them kept Dukey's brother permanently. 1/31/07 Dukey has been adopted by a great young couple...I'm sure he'll be very well taken care of. May God bless him and his new family.

Bio:
Duke seems to have been well taken care by his previous owners. He has a good weight, he doesn't seem to be excessively dirty. The only thing is that he is somewhat skittish of people, I hope he gets used to being around me soon...so far he seem to be adjusting well but he still kind of skittish. He is not neutered, weighs around 15#, he's black with tan, so far he is doing good with his potty business. I'm not sure how old he is but he looks very young, possibly still a puppy. We put flyers around the area where both dogs were found in case someone claims them but I have a feeling they were dropped. We'll wait 2 weeks to see if anyone claims them, if not claimed, I'll neuter him and look for a good home for him.
