Arrival Story:
My poodles had both died and I decided to rescue a dog from our local SPCA. I missed having a dog around, they're so much company. I saw this little guy and thought he was adorable and had to bring him home with me. I had a terrible time at first with separation anxiety but with the help of a kennel I managed to solve that problem after a few months. Now I can leave and he's just fine. No more need for the kennel. :-)

Snuggles Life With Me

The end of my life

I became ill about a year ago and my doctor said it was a problem with my immune system. It started out with what they said was Anal Fistulas which caused me quite a lot of pain.

My mom had to give me a lot of prednisone pills to see if that would clear it up. It helped for a while then they started lowering my dose and it came back again. Meanwhile I developed another immune disorder. All I did was lay around and stopped eating. My RBC count was only 15 when it should have been 35. I was severely anemic. :-(

Yesterday the doc told mom it was my time. So now I'm in doggie heaven chasing squirrels and feeling good again. I just wish my mom would stop crying.......
