Arrival Story:
The breeder had only one female pup left, and he said he was a forty-minute drive away from us. It ended up being an hour and a half, and the female was standoffish and had weepy eyes. But the daughters wanted a DOG, NOW, so we looked at the males. Seann was the prettiest, loved to romp with his brothers and older sister, and even then liked to sit on feet. We paid the nice man, kissed all the other dogs goodbye, and brought him home.

Bio:
His full name is McPherson's Seann Truibhas. My elder daughter is a highland dancer, and the seann truibhas is a beautiful dance. The name is Gaelic, pronounced roughly "shon trooz", and means "old trousers", the dance being about how the highlanders hated when the kilt was banned, how dumb it was to dance in pants, and how terrific when the kilt was allowed again (the dance ends with a huge leap!). Seann himself is a terrific pup, very very friendly, loves all people and all dogs.
