Barking on command, sitting on her hind legs, dancing, rolling over, and staying.
Arrival Story:
I found ole Dixie at a foster home in Bartlett, TN when she was 7 weeks old. Dixie was the bully of her litter of about 8 dogs. She was so playful and friendly to me (as she is with all people), that I just had to take her home. I came to find out that when Dixie was born she was place in a home with two Rottweiler's who did not take to her very well. She was placed back on the step of the Bartlett Animal Shelter and then I found her and she has had a happy home in Memphis ever since.
Bio:
Dixie is a very energetic and playful dog, who is also very well trained. She has the energy and curiousity of the Lab mixed with the intelligence and dependency of the Austrailian Shepherd. Dixie loves spending time outside in her backyard and sleeping at night on her couch.
