Arrival Story:
Molly came into my rescue out of a puppy mill auction pregnant. Everything was so new, she didn't know people, she didn't know love, she didn't know what a leash was. She's learned all these things and more! She fractured both front legs, and had surgery to repair them, but will always need special care to insure that it doesn't happen again, and she will always be somewhat painful in her legs.

Molly is as sweet as they come! She loves to just spend time with people now, and is starting to learn how to play and act like a dog, she's just the sweetst little girl, even after all she's been through she hasn't lost her love for people!!!!

New Name

My foster mommy has now renamed me Miss Molly. Everyone kept getting me confused with her other dog, Ivy, so the name change helps keep us seperate. My legs are slowly healing, although they're still painful at times, especially with the cold weather. Life is good for me now, I get food whenever I ask, I can do whatever I want, I never get scolded or yelled at, my foster mommy's bought me beautiful collars and coats, what more could a girl want? I'm hoping I can win her over and spend the rest of my life with her, but she's told me that somewhere out there is someone who needs my sweet spirit in their home, but if she can't find that person I can stay with her for the rest of my life if needed.

It's been 3 days since the accident, and I've just returned home to my foster mommy. The pain is still intense, but I know that she's doing everything she can to make me comfortable. I'm a lucky dog-if this had happened only a few short weeks ago there would have been no chance for me, they wouldn't have even tried to save me!

The Tragic Accident

It's November 25th, and life has suddenly become very painful! I don't understand, one minute I was in my foster mom's arms, and then I decided to go join the other dogs. Next think I knew there was intense pain in both of my front legs!!! My foster mom rushed me straight to the vet, where we where given the news that I'd badly fractured both front legs, and would need to go to a specialist for surgery, because the breaks where so bad that my regular vet didn't feel he had the skills to repair them. My foster mommy(who's also the head of rescue) is crying, she said that she doesn't know how she'll ever pay the bill, but there's no way she's going to give up on me now! She's going to do what ever it takes to get me the surgery I need, even if it means going without herself!!!!
