Arrival Story:
Sadie is a little snobby...but it is really the fault of her parents...Mummy and Beloved, that's her daddy This is my story...I am beautiful...I was born that way...my mummy found me amongst my brothers and sisters and instantly saw that I was a cut above...I do have severe hip dysplasia, but I'm sure that it is only because God immediately felt guilty about how much better looking he made me than my siblings...my aunt says that I would be an unbearable little s... if I was completely healthy...constantly showing off and prancing about like the princess that I am...even though I have hip problems, my beloved gives me MSM with Chondroiton everyday and exercises me regularly so that I might continue to be active... I do have a big fat, brother that is always trying to get in my way while I'm getting attention, or steal my babies, or my food, or just plain be annoying to me...I have tried very hard to convince my beloved that we should sell him or stake him out by the curb with a sign that says free to anyone, but he tells me that my mummy would be very upset...oh well...one should always hang on to their dreams.

Bio:
I thought I should mention that I have a boyfriend...although, if you were better looking and a little more spry I could be persuaded to leave him at home...he is some sort of euro trash dog...a Portugese water dog named Cooper...he stays with us sometimes, I can't stand him by the end of his stays though...he can't even swim very well...and he likes the fat yellow dog too...he belongs to my aunt...

Happy Birthday to My Angel...

My precious girl how I miss you, especially on days like today. Happy Birthday Angel.
I just came across your pretty collar the other day...I could not help but smell it...hoping it would still smell like you. It did not,not that it matters I do not think I will ever forget. Holding that collar made me so very sad...you think I would have adjusted by now.
Daddy and I were talking about you the other day....well actually whenever dad makes a promise he always swears on your eternal happiness...so I asked why Sadie? Why do you always swear on Sadie? He told because she was was the one for you....there was just something about Sadie...you met her...she wormed into your heart and did not let go. He was right angel girl you are right there where you have always been.
Have a wonderful birthday...I know you are swimming and chasing the ducks having a wonderful time. I envision you with an endless supply of tennis ball...even though I know you will only use one and keep it with you till it is tattered and will no longer float. I see your beautiful fur glistening in the sunlight,I see your smile as you wait for the ball to be thrown....the little dance you would do at my feet because I was never fast enough.
I see you running down the dock and flying into the water....I see that little head bob up and seek the ball. I see your tail wag in the water happy when you got the ball....I know your are the fastest angel swimming in the pond. You may have been little but your were mighty and I never met a dog that could out swim my girl.
I love you angel! Happy Birthday!

Rainbow Bridge day 2009

My beautiful angel girl...I can not believe it is almost two years without you.
Today is a beautiful sunny day...sunny days always remind me of you. I have always said you are just like sunshine and laughter all rolled into a beautiful furry red ball.
I wish I could say it is easier for me...you know I be lying...I just love you to bits my angel. I can only hope that you knew each day how loved you are...I am so lucky to have been blessed with you. You would be eight this year!! I wonder if some gray would of found its way into your silky fur...I can not even imagine you with a white masks like Lucas.
I hope you are having fun at the bridge...swimming and chasing tennis balls. Please take care of Griff and keep him with you. I know his mommy's heart is broken over loosing him. If anyone can keep him distracted with silly antics till he can be with his mom again...it is you!
I know Lucas misses you just as much as I do...sometimes I see him staring off fixated on something....is that you? Watch over your brother..he needs an angel so desperately right now. I take comfort in knowing when his time comes you will be the first face he sees when his eyes close.
I miss you every single day...you know how often I think of you...daddy can not even speak your name without tearing up...every red golden he sees....he slows down to look...always he says my girl was so pretty.
We love you angel...
Mommy
