Arrival Story:
We found a breeder in South Dakota after our first Akita died. We knew Indy was meant to be ours. He was born the day my Grandmother passed away. In our family it seems our pets go with our family members. Today we let another family member care for our beloved Indy. My Mother left us for a painless place on July 26th, 2004 and on this day January 4th, 2005, Indy went to the same painfree place to run and play, and hold my mother's hand.

Bio:
Though we only had Indy in our family for 8 years, he was the ultimate Akita. Loyal, loving and Gorgeous. He continued the tradition of leaving to be with a beloved family member.....My Mother.

Forever Loved

On January 4, 2005, Indy lost a battle no one knew he was fighting. For the love of our Timbersky's Once Bitten, I will forever feel his paw in my hand and his look in my heart. He was devoted to his family and played with us up to the very end. We lost the most gentle of all the gentle giants to a cancer that did not destroy his heart. He held the look of love in his eyes as we told him goodbye. I wish our love could have helped to take away the pain. Now he walks at my mother's side.......for all eternity.
We will miss you always.
