I haven't written in a long time 'cause that lady that loves me has been very busy with work and when she's not at the office, (what's an office?) then she's doing that training thing with me or throwing the ball!
She's had a really bad cold (hope it's not a doggie cold) and so we haven't been to the dogpark in awhile :(
I overheard her say that she has to work both days this weekend and so we won't be going this weekend either.
Maybe she'll take me to that other park for a little while like she did last weekend. I wonder if she knew that there was no fence around that one.
I was very good while we were there though. She told me to sit and wait and then she walked a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way away from me! When she called me I ran as fast as I could. I didn't know the ground was so slick and when I sat I couldn't stop. Good thing she backed up fast, 'cause I was going to slide right into her!
She's taking me to a new class now called "attention". I think they should call it watch! That's what I do, watch her.
Well it's time for the last run outside before bed, maybe she'll win that lottery thing this weekend. I heard her say if she did she wouldn't have to work anymore.
: )

What's an anniversary?

That lady that loves me says that today is an anniversary.
I'm not sure what that is but she tells me that we've been together a year today.
If I think really hard I remember a very long ride in the car (7 hours) and throwing up a couple of times.
That wasn't so much fun.
I remember I was a little unsure about leaving what was then my home, but she kept me close to her for a few days and now I don't remember what it was like being at the other place.
She says I've grown a lot in the last year. I remember when I first came here I could walk under her legs when she had her feet on the coffee table, now I have to jump over her legs!
I've learned so much since I've been here!
I know how to sit, down, stay, wait, belly, load, jump, crate, come, hip, tug and of course my favorite "take-it"

Hey lady that loves me....Happy Anniversary!

Birthay?

That lady that loves me said I had a birthday on the 8th. She took me to a very large building where there were a lot of people. I tried to be very good and walk nicely and she seemed very happy. She said "good boy" in her happy voice a lot!
Then we went into this one room and there was a lot of very strange things including a HUGE stuffed rabbit. I tried to play with it a few times but she kept calling me away. She's no fun sometimes.
Then she had me sit and lay in a lot of different ways and lights kept flashing. She said "good boy" in that voice a lot in there too. I think she was very proud of how well I behaved.
Now I know that what that was all about was having my picture taken for my first birthday! She said she'd send them to her friends, put them on my website and have them on her desk at work. I guess she really does love me!
Yesterday she took me to the park, but we went right by the place where she takes off the leash and I get to run and play. Once again, she's no fun sometimes. She made up for it later though when we played "find-it" in the grass. We've never done that before, usually we do that at home with a toy. This time it was TREATS, yes TREATS!
I hope we get to do that again.
Now I think we're going to go play with Tucker at Black Dog : )
