I LOVE peanutbutter...but for the crunchy "dog" stuff I eat Royal Canine Mini.
Favorite Walk:
I like to walk around the yard, but there is a hawk that watches me so I mostly stay inside.
Best Tricks:
I don't really do the trick thing, I just run around.
Arrival Story:
After losing my precious chi Trini I decided I wanted another chi to fill the void. My neighbor has several chi's and her female was pregnant and due very soon, so I waited and waited and finally saw mama with no belly. I asked my neighbor if she had the puppies she said they all died except one male. He was only 4 weeks old she brought him out for me to see and I fell in love. The only bad part she said she was selling him to someone else...a couple weeks went by and I asked her about him, she said she still had him (he was outside in a pen with 5 other adult chi's at 8 weeks. ) I beg my fiance to go over there and get the dog for me. So I was cleaning my house later that day and kept hearing a little bell when I finally turned and looked there was my little fluffball on the floor waiting for his Momma.
Bio:
When Zoe was about 10 weeks we noticed one day he was acting really sick, he stomach was really bloated, he was throwing up and had blood in his stools. We rushed him to the vet's office trying to keep him awake on the way there. They took his temp. and said he should be died at this low, they ran test and determined he had a severe hookworm infestation. He was anemic and they wanted to give him a blood transfusion. It was very expensive and they wanted to keep him overnight, we could not afford it so the vet gave us medicated food and iron drops, they also dewormed him. We had to quarantine him to the kitchen because of his diarrhea. I had to syringe feed him every 2 hours, I slept with him for 3 days on the kitchen floor. We went for a follow up visit after 3 days and the vet was shocked to see him alive, and he had gained weight from 1 lbs. to 1 lbs. 5 oz. We continued the treatment and followed up in 1 week. He had gained more qirght, he was pink instead of grey and he actually ran around the house. The vet was so happy he didnt die, it sounded harsh but it was true. She said it was a fighter and he definately believe that. He survived out of 5 puppies that died and lived through a horrible infection. He's our hero and he pulled through I think he knew he needed me and I really needed him. He helped each other. He's my little superhero.

I made my mommy chase me today, but she didn't seem to like running after me. See there was this big black dog in our front yard and Mommy was outside with my human brother, she said the dog was getting to close so she asked my human brother to go inside well when she opened the door I shot out like a rocket and chased that mean ol' dog away. So I was fiercly chasing him down the street and Mommy was hot on my tail..(BOL). I ran across the busy street and Mom says by some "miracle" whatever that word means, I didn't get hit by a car. She said she couldn't been killed as well because she wasn't looking. AND my human brother who's 5 was right behind her and she yelled at him not to move. He just wanted to join the funny of chasing the mean ol' dog. Well I continued to run cause it was fun, I finally stopped to show him my big bark and Mommy grabbed me and told me I was a bad boy...WHAT@!!&**%&*I was only trying to let mean black dog know that this is my house. Well Mommy was really scared and now I can only get near the door if my leash is on and then she puts me in this stinky outdoor playpen. Oh well so much for trying to show who's the man.

Wow..today was so cool. Mom and Dad came home from taking my human brother to Tball and they got me and Paris all dressed up and took us to the car, oh yea the excitement doesnt stop there. We went to the park and when we finally stopped walking we were at the Doggie Bag yappi hour. Its a local doggie boutique and they had all kinds of stuff for us to do. We got to eat doggie cake and we took pictures. There were so many cute doggies there. I was talking like crazy...Mom said she never heard me talk like that before but it was cute. My human brother got his face painted and then he didnt like it so we didnt stay long after that, but I had so much fun. Mom even got free samples of Canidae and Innova food. I guess I'll have to not be a meanie for a couple of days after this. BOL.

My mommy and daddy went to the SPCA and found my new sister. They have been on the matchmaker program for a month and no one called yet, so they went up on Saturday like they always do just to "look" and she saw a sweet little female chihuahua (not my sister) but we werent on the list, so she asked why? The volunteer said I'll have to check because we have two more chi's in the back. My mommy got so excited she said I want to see her. They said they already had other people on their way so we would have to decide fast. Mommy saw her face and said YES! My mommy said she is gorgeous and she's gonna be my new Girlfriend. More updates soon!!! P.S. She comes home Wednes.
