My two-legged creatures rescued me from the dog pound in December 2001. I was really scared in that cage and didn't know what I did to end up there. (I was just doing what dogs do and suddenly, I ended up in jail!) It was pretty noisy in there, too - whenever the two-legged creatures would come in, all my cell mates would start barking their heads off. I was the only one who didn't utter a sound. I just looked at the floor and wagged my tail across the concrete.

The two-legged creature named Bethy knelt down to talk to me, and I am no dummy - I can recognize a soft hearted sucker when I see one! :-) I leaned my head up against the gate and put my paw up for her to grab. The rest is history, thank heavens!

I felt bad leaving all the other four leggers behind awaiting unknown fates, but I also really wanted to get the h*** out of Dodge!

I will write more later, ok? Right now I see a squirrel at the feeder who needs to be barked at in the worst way.

Happy New Year to all my doggie friends. We might stay up on New Year's Eve and get some poor boy sandwiches!
