 Quick Bio:
Likes: Food, Frisbee, Ball — in that order (though food and frisbee are almost a tie)

Pet-Peeves: Not being played with when SHE wants to.

Favorite Toy: Balls and Frisbees

Favorite Food: Cookies! (treats)

Favorite Walk: Any place with great things to check out by smelling - loves going to the park to play FRISBEE!

Best Tricks: Rollover, High Five, Kiss Me, Shake, Super Kiss, Super Dog (trying to learn flying now).

Arrival Story: Breeze, our last Aussie, passed away suddenly on June 30th, 2003. We loved her dearly, she was my baby. We looked at many Aussie photos, was on many breeders lists, even went through 2 false pregnancies (dogs that is). I had seen these puppies when they were just a week old...I had called to get a picture of the mother (a beautiful red merle) and the breeder sent me Mom's picture, as well as Skye's. As soon as I saw her I was in love! I knew she was the one for me.

Bio: Skye is a very very happy dog. She always has a happy look on her face-as her "baby" picture can attest to. She's a smaller Aussie (but not a mini) that is completely within the standards of the ASCA and AKC descriptions. We were taking Skye for agility and conformation - she did well, the handler (me) was TERRIBLE. Her best doggie friend is Atticus Finch (you can see him on this site too). He's my daughters Aussie!

.... my human owner doesn't come on here as much as she should. I mean LOOK at ALL of the dog friends I could be playing with! Oh well. I know she's busy and has lots of other things to do. As long as she's here for me to give kisses and get hugs and kisses from, I will be happy.
My mom was thinking of finding me a boyfriend...but not sure if that will happen. Not even sure IF I WANT one...I have too much to do in life! Lots of balls and frisbees to chase after, and I love the one on one with Mom and Dad (even my human sister -even when she calls me Bratty-I answer, then make sure I live up to my name!). I'm 5 now...and Mom doesn't want me to have puppies after 6, so I guess it's pretty much now or never...I'll leave it up to her...just give me food or a frisbee...I'll be happy.
My mom (and human sister) pet sits for other dogs. At first, I was kind of jealous, they came in smelling like Other Dogs and Cats! Ick! But, I got used to it. Now I give them the once over, and that's it....Let's Play!
My "brother" is over here a lot (my Mom calls him her granddog)...I get to go over and visit him and my human sister at night when she gets home from work. Again, I try to be sure I earn that name "Bratty".
Well, I guess I better go....I think my mom is going to call me home soon (I'm visiting my human sister and my "brother" next door).
Have fun all of you furry friends! Play ball!

My humans are wanting me to get all prissy . They want me to stand straight, walk pretty with my head up high, have my nails and hair done. What's with that! I'm just a girl who's mission in life is to chase balls and frisbees, and get as many treats as possible! Plus I have even heard them talking about grandpups! What is that all about!?!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did. I had so much fun opening presents that I decided that my human family just wasn't doing it right, so decided to give them a paw (as well as some wonderful ripping action with the teeth. Paper everywhere! It was so much fun!
I'll let you know more about this beauty contest that my owners and breeders have decided for me to do. On the bright side, I get to see my breeder, and my grandma's breeder is going to help Mom with it all, as well as take me around the ring for awhile until Mom can do a decent job of it (Mom thinks she doesn't handle me well - I LOVE the way she handles me - I Love My MoM and my Mom LOVES me too. That's the reason I miss her so much when she stays overnight someplace else-I mope around).

WooF! WooF! It's almost SPRING!!! Me and my mom, human sis Heather and her dog Atticus got to play frisbee outsided today! Mom hasn't been letting me do that in the back yard because it has been too muddy. It was so much fun...I ran back and forth between Atticus's yard and mine. A girl has a lot of work to do...Atticus is just too slow at picking the frisbee up and giving it to Heather - I have to help! Men!! Humph!
Mom's been babysitting a spanial type dog named Bailey. He's been staying overnight and going home during the day...but he didn't get to come back today...because they had to rush one of our kitties to the emergency vet today as she collapsed. They think it might be due to the fact that she wouldn't come downstairs to eat, drink, pee or poop since he was there. But Mom thinks it's more than that, so she's going to take Mrs. Peel in to our regular vet today. But for right now, Mrs. Peel has taken over the dog kennel (she has some good smelling wet cat food in there, so that she is contained - so Bailey didn't have a place to sleep last night. That's ok....he wasn't much fun...he couldn't keep up with me. When Mom tossed a ball and I ran for it....he looked like a deer in headlights...he did try to get it a couple of times. Atticus is much more fun - at least he tries - and can actually get it sometimes. He wasn't allowed over when Bailey was here - he's not very tolerant of other dogs and tends to be snappy with them.
I can't wait for spring to REALLY get here - every day playing frisbee outside - it is so much fun!
