Turkey Day!

Man, has it been a great day today! Mom made some really special food and let us have the same dinner she did instead of kibble! We had turkey and dressing, some mashed potatoes and sweet potates, and even a bite of dessert. Mom called it bread pudding but it didn't taste like bread to me. That turkey was so juicy...I hope we can have leftovers tomorrow.

I'm FINALLY growing again! The vet said a long time ago that I would be really big, even bigger than my brother Eddie, and I was growing like a weed, my mom said. So she bought me a beautiful new pink collar a size bigger than my blue one. Then I stopped growing and I can't fit into my new collar! Well, I finally got to 40 pounds and I'm just about to outgrow my old collar. I liked it but it sure is worn out. And it has NOTHING to do with the fact that I happen to love to roll in the mud and play wrestle with my brothers. Nothing at all.

So maybe by Christmas I can wear my new collar! It IS hot pink, which mom says doesn't mean I have to be a girly girl. Thank goodness. I like roughhousing and getting dirty TOO much to act like a typical GIRL!

Not such a good day.

I know my brother Eddie was in here complaining, I just know it. He's upset about us not being allowed on the couch anymore and since I keep him out of MY chair, he has to lay down on the floor or in his crate. Ha ha.

I don't mind my chair. I think it's perfectly cozy and I can see everything that's going on. But today I didn't feel very well. I'm a healthy girl and I never get sick, but today my tummy hurt. I know my momma was worried about me. I actually think it might have been the egg she gave me and Jimmy, but I'm not going to tell her. She wanted to spoil us, she said, and I don't want her to be disappointed. Plus, that egg was TASTY!

Aw. Well, I'm still not quite myself, so I'm going to say goodbye for now, diary.

Love
Frances

Yay! My mommy's team won! But I think she felt kinda sad for the other team. I kinda do. I wish someone didn't have to lose. =(

After the game, me and my brothers Eddie and Jimmy played tug of war and bitey-face for a while until one of my teeth accidentally poked Mom. So we all had to stop playing and "chill," as my momma said.

I'm getting bigger every day! Mom says if my ears don't start flopping pretty soon, she's going to put paper clips on them! I *think* she's kidding, but I'm trying to make those darned ears stay down just in case. I'm just so excited and there's so many new things to see and bark at. My ears just stay up all by themselves!

It's almost dinner time and I really hope my mom will let us have some more of the stinky stuff. She always says "mmmmm" when she's mixing it up. That's how I know we're getting something special! Gotta go! I think I heard Mom asking if I was hungry!
