Arrival Story: Feeney is sparkly, silly, very loving, and just LIVES for belly rubs and Easy Cheese (AKA Feeney Cheese) She's energetic but not hyper, eager to please and extremely handler responsive. She knows basic obedience and is house-trained and crate-trained.
Her coat is blue-fawn and white and she has pretty brown-sugar eyes - one has a cool patch of blue too.
This little sugar bear has been waiting so patiently for a person or family of her very own. Could it be you?
Bio: Sweet Feeney was rescued in New Orleans in October '05 and was a favorite at Camp Katrina, where everyone loved to give her belly rubs. Sadly, just when she thought she was safe, a series of unfortunate events left our beloved Feeney in the hands of a neglectful owner. She was "re-rescued" and is still every bit the vibrant, silly dog she always was.

A really wonderful lady filled out an adoption application for me last week and I was thiiiis close to finally having a forever home.
But... her apartment had restrictions for "dangerous breeds", so she couldn't adopt me. It makes me sad that people are so prejudiced against me when they don't even know me.
OK seriously, we just did this last year. Have I mentioned that I have hair that's like, two millimeters long??
Whenever it's cold or rainy outside, my foster mom gets a little faklempt and tells me how glad she is that I'm not living outside on a chain anymore. I am too. I'm all toasty and dry, and I have my big fluffy, silly pink comforter and a bunch of toys.
Every now and then, I just have a happy fit. I flop over on my back and wiggle around like... like... I dunno, something wiggly I guess.
Life is good.
I know my forever family is out there somewhere. Wherever you are, stay warm and dry until I get there, OK?
