Arrival Story:
We decided our family needed a dog! We researched different types of dogs and determined a Golden would best fit our family. When we went to visit Roscoe's litter....he was the one laying over in the corner in the water bowl. His brothers were jumping all over the kids. We picked Roscoe.

Bio:
Once we got Roscoe home, he settled into our hectic homelife. But all in all, Roscoe has remained the dog laying in the corner. He is so passive and laid back. But get him around some water, and he is SO in there...loves to swim! But he mostly prefers to lay right under our feet..always protecting the family.

Woof Woof to all my friends. It is almost summer and I am very excited! It has to be my favorite time of the year.Well, in Florida it is summerlike most of the time. But for me, summer means, my own pool to dip in whenever I am outside. I just lay in my pool, soak up the sun and "Hi-paw" the golfers as they watch me! I wonder what color my po0l will be this year. Last year it was yellow, not very manly but mom sent Justin out to get a pool and he just bought the first he saw. It was funny too, he tied to the top of his truck and drove it home.
I go to work everyday with dad. I am a working dog. I am learning how to pick up the faxes but mostly I lay on the architectural drawings. They are cool to lay on. And of course, that gets me a good scratch when they need to look at the drawings. I have made friends with the Fed Ex and UPS guy. But the ladies next door are very scared of me..wonder why? I just want to be their friend.
Here is wishing everyone a happy summer! Get ready, Hurricane Season is closing in on us again. Let's keep our paws crossed for a save season.
Licks and paws forever,
Roscoe

2006 is a great year so far. My knees are doing great..we survived the hurricane season and my family is still the most loving dog family ever. I have added some new pictures of me. Pretty much the same. I am happiest when lounging around. I go to work everyday with Kevin! And Mr Dave feeds me all the good stuff. What a great routine for me.
Winter in Florida has been just great. Kevin has built several fires in the fireplace and I LOVE THAT! I lay down right in front and sleep away.
I am looking forward to the warm weather so I can play outside in my pool and soak up the rays!
Slobber and paws to all

My new knee!!

Hello to everyone. I am back from the hospital and I finally have my new knee. I still have a long road ahead of me. I spent the first few days wearing that crazy lampshade-thing! I really hated that! And I know I looked ridiculus! And of course, they shaved my leg, again.
I now have to live in my kennel when my family is not at home. It has been since before the Florida hurricanes that I slept in my kennel. My family had to dig it out of their garage. But they have made me a nice bed, velour mattress! I am warm and comfy!
I have a scar in my leg about 8 inches long and a small one around my ankle. The swelling is almost gone and the stitches will be removed on Saturday! I can't wait. They ITCH so much and I can not stop licking them
I sure can not jump up and run after my neighborhood friends. I am not using this leg anytime soon. The doc says 6 months before I am back to normal. But that is okay. My family takes such good care of me.
Even my friends have sent their well wishes. Muffy and Max gave me a get well bag with treats and a card. Oh and my friend, Lola has stopped by to visit a couple of times. It is so nice to have good friends and a great family.
I will keep you posted of my progress and thanks for your prayers.
WOOF WOOF...love and kisses....Roscoe
