Arrival Story:
I was driving to Athens, GA for spring break and it was raining hard. I passed two dogs on the side of the interstate. Wallace was one of them, and another dog, who had been killed by a car was the other. I turned around and spent 2 hours trying to coax him into my Jeep. Finally he relented and he's been my best friend ever since.
Bio:
Wallace has really come out of his shell in the 5 years that I've had him. At first he was terrified of strangers and was rarely social with other animals. Now, he loves meeting new people and new dogs. Unfortunately, he has never been fond of water in any way shape or form. His biggest personal hurdle was ending his craving to pee on furniture, which he has accomplished quite fantastically.
