He was the first one born in her litter of six. A very striking puppy, he was also the first to be sold. It was very sad to see him go and, yes, we did regret selling him, because we had developed a special bond with him right away. Fortunately, fate had other plans. We were reunited a year later when his owner had to return him because she was moving to an apartment. I can't express in words how happy we were to have him back! Bio: At 9 years old, Bubba is as healthy and happy as ever. He doesn't show his age at all. We have loved having him with us all these years! He brings a smile to my face on a daily basis, especially when he does something that reminds me of his mother, Xena (our first husky). He IS quite a character on his own, though. All of our huskies get along and love playing together, but Bubba and Ditey are best friends. He definitely watches over her like a big brother. I added some new photos of Bubba with his new friend, Buddy. Buddy is our neighbor's bloodhound/basset hound mix who likes to go on walks with us. They get along great, especially when it comes to digging. Bubba absolutely loves to dig! He usually hates getting dirty but, if given the opportunity, he will dig until he wears himself out. They invented a game: Bubba digs a hole and Buddy rolls in it. The boys then "wrestle" ~ Bubba tries to push Buddy out of the hole if he is not done digging. It's really funny to watch Bubba having to keep digging a new hole because his new friend keeps plopping down on every one. Hope everyone enjoys the photos!
