Arrival Story:
Amber and Jason decided their boy, Roy, needed a companion (although Roy probably had a differing opinion), and went to the local Humane Society to adopt a black lab mix. They walked in, and in the first pen saw a labby looking puppy passed out on a green cot. They knew she was the one. She hasn't stopped knocking over the garbage and scavenging for food since we brought her home.
Bio:
Coconut got her name from modifying her previous owner's name for her. When she was adopted, her name was "Cocoa", which Amber and Jason thought was lame--but, they didn't want her to have to learn a new name...thus she became Coconut.
Coconut is built like a truck, and isn't as fast as other dogs, but usually wants it more--the 'it' being anything any other dog wants. She never gets tired no matter how far Jason takes her running.
