generally, being cute; she sits up well, fetches for short periods of time, and is flat on her back if there's even a chance that someone'll rub her belly -- she also has this odd knock of grunting at the most appropriate times

Arrival Story:
I saw her at Town Lake animal shelter July 6, 2003 and she'd just come in and I knew that she was the one for me -- thankfully, she wasn't there during July 4, when all the fireworks explode and pop nearby. at Town Lake, they called her dixie - ugh - which she never answered to. the day I picked her up, she was renamed polly jean, after p.j. harvey. uh-huh her. and there's been no looking back since.

I also suspect that she also has some terrier in her somewhere -- around the face and ears
