Likes: being petted Pet-Peeves: scared of thunderstorms Favorite Food: canned food Arrival Story: Missy was a rescue from the shelter here in town, she is a purebred long haired dapple dachshund, but she was picked up off the street and no one came to pick her up. She was heartworm positve, and her teeth were so bad all but 8 had to be pulled. Because of the heartworms and gum disease her heart was damaged and she has to be on heart medication for the rest of her life. You can tell she was abused, and it took several weeks for her to get to trust me, and loud noises scare her. But I have had her for about 3 years, and she is a very happy dog now!
