I'm Three Years Old Today!!!

Wow, what a great day. Mom took me to Dog Beach to play fetch all morning. Then we went for a spa treatment. I got the works...bath, nails, massage, teeth. Then mom took me with a friend who has a pug to Cucina Alessa for lunch. I spilled water everywhere. We went home and mom serenaded me and gave me pumpkin spice mini-muffins. They were yummy!!! Mom's taking the bike and trailer in to get pumped up so we can start going on rides again...

i hurt my mommy...

she keeps saying it wasn't my fault, but i know better.

friday (the 13th) i went to starbucks in my mom's bike basket. we had a great time and met a lot of people. afterwards, mom decided to take me for a ride around the block. yesterday, ran next to mom's bike on my leash as she was riding her bike and since it went so well she rode around the block by starbucks. i kept stopping to smell the bushes and was scolded and told to run. i did. mom got the bike up to about 5-7mph and i stopped to go to the bathroom. well, mom's bike stopped, but she flew over the handlebars, dropping the leash. she landed on her right knee and her left hand. she looked more worried that i was going to dart into the street then for her own safety. mom called me over. i went. mom dropped me off at home, went away, and came back with a brace on her hand. guess we can't go riding for a bit. :(

The Best Dog, Hands Down

I just wanted to write a note in Princeton's diary. Princeton brings such joy and love to our lives. He is smart, sweet, mannerly, healthy, fun, playful, and gorgeous! We go to sleep each night with him at the foot of the bed and wake each morning with him sleeping between us. He is just the best!!! We love you, Princeton!!!

Princeton and his mom and dad celebrated his 2nd birthday by taking him to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Health Clinic in San Diego. He had his heart, eyes and patellas checked thoroughly and he came through with flying colors! We have a healthy, little Wuzz and we love him very much!

I opened my Dogster Mainpage and the article section (where the pictures change) had my photo under the headline, "How to keep your dog clean." I remember when the pic was taken, I had just finished getting blown dry,,,

Santa Barbara

My parents took me on an awesome trip to Santa Barbara!!! Mom was a little scared because she saw a blog that put a big ol' cloud over Santa Barbara's dog treatment. I was treated like a king! We stayed at The Fess Parker Doubletree Resort. They had a gift bag ready for me when I got there. It had treats, a poopie bag (empty of course) and a Fido Friendly travel magazine...oh and a tennis ball! I had a blast. They let me everywhere on the resort but the restaurants and the pool. They even had menu items to order from room service especially for me. My parents took me out to eat at Emilio's on Cabrillo (close to the pier) and The Brewhouse at Montecito. We went hiking (lots of dogs were offleash cause they were allowed to be, but not me) at the Douglas Family Nature Preserve which was just above Arroyo Buro (an off-leash dog beach). We had the most awesome time!!! There are even some shops on State that allowed me.

Where Have I Been?

Wow, it's been a great year! Mommy has changed my diet. She gives me raw meat/veggies/fruit that she mixes herself. I love it and my coat is shinier than ever!!!

:( My paws are big!

A new month and a new trip to the vet. Last night, mom was looking at my paws and noticed that they were swollen. She gave me a quarter of a Benadryl and took me to the vet today. My vet declared it an allergic reaction and asked my mom to wash my paws carefully. Turned out I was allergic to my new dog litter. I'm bummed, but I'm feeling much better and now we've switched back. :)

Letter to Santa

Dear Santa Paws,

Boy, it's been such a great year already! I have everything, but if I could ask for anything else, I guess I'd want:

1) a fluffy bed (I met a dog who had one)
2) a car (mom never lets me drive)
3) a trip to Cambria (I had a blast last year)
4) food, any food!!!
5) a bird...for a pet...and a chase...and a snack :)

My Birthday is Tomorrow!

Tonight we had a special dinner!!! Mom invited my old trainer, Steve for dinner and cake. I had my own cake!!! It was so good! I got presents, too. I got toys, bones, and treats!!!!My regular birthday party isn't even until next week!!!
