Arrival Story: I adopted Frosty from a shelter in Indiana almost 8 years ago (8 years August 2004), he was between 3 and 6 years at that time. He had previous owners, one (or more) whom beat him severely. I worked daily with him for 9-12 months to help him overcome his fears. He became my Little Man and we have bonded because of this. He is but a mere shadow of the dog I got when I adopted him. He could have been mean and aggressive but instead is one of the most loving dogs I've ever had.
Bio: Frosty - I was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma - a vascular cancer - late in 2004. In January 2005 my mom and dad took me to the vet and they had to amputate my leg so I could live. It took me a little while but I've adjusted to only having 3 legs pretty well. I've finished my chemotherapy and am feeling pretty good these days!
