Arrival Story:
We adopted Blackie when he was a puppy from neighbors. He was a wonderful companion to our family. He loved cats, after he found out from a stray that showed up, she was not afraid of him and didn't run from him. When Blackie was 6 years old he disappeared. We never found him. Other dogs in the area were disappearing about the same time. Rumors was dogs were being taken for dog fights. We could never prove this. I Prayed he did not suffer and to this day I often wonder If I could have done something different. Blackie is gone but never forgotten.
