Arrival Story: I met Black Jack when I was taking some treats into the shelter for the dogs and he was just sitting in the front kennel by the door. From the first time I saw him I knew we were ment to be together. I walked him for about two months every Saturday. Then finally after lots of talking to my parents about it, they said I could get him. We have been best friends ever since.
Bio: I'm from Wyoming so I'm a cowdog born and bred. But I also love agility and chasing my frisbee. Everyone tells me I'm going to be great at agility, as long as my owner keeps up with me.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Life can't get much better than this! We moved to a new house about two months ago. It's great!! Lots more room to run, and plenty of room for playing ball down stairs when it's cold outside. We started agility last month. It's a lot of fun. I'm really good at it too. We have been to two member training days and I have learned so much. I even went on the teater!! AJ bought me some weaves poles and a jump to play on at home so I can get better at them. I keep asking for a teater and more jumps (they are my favorite!) but he said we have enough for now. I'm ging to work on him and see if I can get him to buy them for me :) Some how I think he will. We are going to go play on my new agility stuff. So that's all for now.
It has been a while since I have updated everyone on how I'm doing. Things are going GREAT!!!!!! I'm so happy here in my forever home. I finally know it's safe. I haven't had any back problems for a few months, and hopefully I won't anytime soon. I'm learning new tricks and learning how to trust other dogs. Sage (my new sister) is warming up to me. I can actually come in and watch tv with everyone now. It's great fun, except when tv gets to loud. I'm going to start flyball and herding lessons sometime soon. At least that's what I have been promised. I never knew how much fun life could be until now. Life is good for this border collie.
Well I have already been here at home for two months now. I can't believe it has been that long! I have done so much it's hard to list it all. I have been addicted to my frisbee the last few weeks now, but I just got a kong air toy and it's great. I love all my toys, soft and hard. I got to walk a bunch in town a few days ago, it was a blast. I'm going to my first stock clinic in March, I can't wait for it. I try to herd the rabbits around the house but I'm told not to.
